After being given reference number I payed on the 26th July and they sent a massage with installation date which was on the 30th July no one came no one contacted me... around 16h00 they sent me a ma... ãã£ãšèŠã
Monday morning a technician switches off the street, promising it will be back by the end of the day. Tuesday he carries on until lunch and then leaves. It is still not working. Vumatel is a monopoly... ãã£ãšèŠã

The experience completely exceeded my expectations. It was quick, simple and professional. Everything was done within a few hours of application. Within minutes of applying online a received a call confirming a team was on the way. And within an hour a team was at my house and installation was done. The whole process was so fast and easy, I am so impressed.
Extremely poor service
Extremely poor service. Not helpful. They don't tell you in the fine print that you need to buy a computer their system. We can expect that Vuma to lie to me.

For anyone needing WI-FI, from start to finish including your service provider - contact Nomzamo Mbanjwa! I have never in my life delt with such an amazing individual - coming from the sales and business solutions background, I have never received such amazing and fast service from ANYONE. Nomzamo sent me my service provider options to which I selected my choice. Nomzamo had Vuma install, my service provider activate my line, and my router delivered within 2 business days. She assisted me on the Friday, and I was up and running by the Monday afternoon. Thank you so much Nomzamo, Vumatel are very lucky to have you part of their team. If I could have given you a 10-star rating, I would have.

Absolutely shocking. They dig up the entire neighbourhood yet the connection remains poor quality. I am seriously thinking of going 5g router and cancel my subscription.

It's no surprise to see that Vumatel has a 1.5 review rating on Trustpilot. That shows what a terrible internet service provider they really are. Terrible customer service agents. Horrible business practices. Terrible company as a whole.
lost connection
My connection has been lost for almost a week. Technicians rocked up at my premises yesterday while I was at work. Brilliant!!!! No phone call or no call made to my alternative contact number. Nice!!! I am up to wits end with VUMA! I do online studies and need my connection sorted ASAP.
Worse customer service experience
Worse customer service experience, long queues, unreachable, WiFi service off line since the 16 January 2026 till todate, problem not resolved. Unhappy customer.

To this day i stand by my first review vuma is still the worst Fibre to have, they never communicate professionally with customers and they never resolve technical issues in time it's been 2 days again with the same internet outage.
No reimbur*****t to customers or alternative ways to resolve this matter or a solution to this problem.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Vuma has been extremely reliable. Since installation 6 years ago , the connection has been stable with no issues and no need to contact support. Internet only goes down when thereâs no power, never because of the fibre. Highly dependable service.

Poor Service, no feedback ,no SLA
I logged a call with an agent on moving home and instructed the agent that my service must be terminated at my old address on the 1st January and enabled at my new address on the first January 2026.
I have been following up daily since the past 7 days for update on the moving home installation and no feedback, on the 31th at midnight the old address got disconnected for wifi, today is the 2 Jan no update on the installation at new apartment and tried requesting feedback, no update awaiting feedback.
Can anyone advise a better service provider quick turn around time as this one is crappy!!!

Reported a problem on the 26th of December, didn't receive any communication until 2 days later. The internet was then active for a couple of hours only to fail again. Then it was classified as an area outage, phoned them again to be told it was resolved but still no connectivity. Customer service is atrocious on their end. Do not select them as an option, worst experience ever!

Vumatel deducted on a weekend and cancelled my fibre today. I work from home and rely on the internet. The agents were not helpful and when I requested to speak to the manager, they waited until 6pm until they left the office to tell me they will escalate it at 8 am when they are back. I sent proof of payment and emphasized that I do not have anywhere to go, and it was not my fault that they debited on the weekend. With the treatment I just received it shows that Vumatel only focus on getting customers. Once we're in they do not care about us. As long they get their money. They don't give a damn!!!
As useful as a waterproof towel
I have been waiting for days to have my line activated. Vuma keeps closing the ticket saying its been resolved without doing anything.The email updates are as useful as a waterproof towel.

They must reach out and provide feedback to their customers. I donât have wifi from Wednesday and logged a call and up to today Saturday the 11th. Is like they don't care about their clients I am really not happy
Bad service and customer care
There has been an ongoing internet outage for three days now, and the service has proven to be both unreliable and frustratingâespecially for those of us who work from home. Itâs unacceptable to go this long without access to an essential service that we pay for.
Whatâs even more concerning is that while Webafrica remains without signal, Mwebâoperating under the same Vumatel networkâhas full connectivity. Yet, Webafrica continues to report a general outage in the area. This lack of clarity and accountability is extremely disappointing.
