My cousin got a rental car and we went on a trip together and had a horrible experience.
I would urge everyone not to use service from this dealership. They have poor service and they harass customers with false claims about damage to car and ask for a lot of money and threaten with legal action.

We had the following issues:

Booking and Car Change:

Booked a rental car (Seat Arona) for Saturday, 20th July to Thursday, 25th July and paid a deposit of £250.
Due to unavailability, the rental store provided us with a Seat Cupra at the last moment.

Puncture Incident:

On the evening of 21st July, around 4:30 PM, we had a car puncture.
We called the driverline helpdesk and the rental office (which was closed).
The driverline helpdesk took almost 24 hours to fix the tyre, citing they couldn't find anyone nearby to assist.
When the mechanic arrived the next day, he informed us that no one had contacted them the previous night and they operate 24/7, meaning the tyre could have been fixed much sooner.
This delay stranded us in the middle of nowhere for hours without water, food, or toilets, causing significant stress, especially with ladies and a toddler in our group. It also ruined our holiday plans, wasting two days and preventing us from engaging in planned activities.

Return of Vehicle and Deposit Dispute:

When we returned the vehicle, we expected no issues with getting our £250 deposit back as we had no incident during the rental tenure.
However, the rental manager, Waseem Hussein, made a significant fuss about minor scratches on two wheel rims. These scratches are barely noticeable and could have been present when we rented the car. The manager has no proof that the scratches were not present before our hire.
Despite trying to explain and resolve the issue for three hours, the manager was uncooperative and demanded £200 per wheel rim for the scratches. At many points we felt extremely stressed and mentally harassed but tried to keep calm and resolve the issue without being escalated.
We had also purchased an Enhanced CDW plan for £15 per day, which should limit the liability to £250. The manager claimed this was "per claim" and since there were two scratches, he demanded an additional £150 on top of the £250 deposit.
For 3 hours, we were trying to convince him not to charge us our deposit of £250 but out of nowhere he started to demand an additional £150.
Nowhere in the rental terms or office signage does it state that the Enhanced CDW is applied "per claim." It only mentions reducing the excess to £250.
The store manager also threatened with legal action and said you will get a court order if we don't pay the money he demanded which caused further stress. This was extremely stressful and such conduct can not be tolerated.
The manager's handling of this situation, including long waits to deal with other customers while we were waiting and refusal to understand the normal wear and tear of rental cars, was mentally harassing and caused to lose half a workday.

Worst custom service.
We had a tire puncture and it took them
24 hours to fix the tire which ruined our holiday plans.
Moreover they charged the maximum £250 ( we bought the enhanced coverage plan for additional £15 per day which limits the excess liability to £250 max) for minor scratches on the wheel rim.
I tried for 2 hours explaining that this is normal wear and tear but they won’t listen and kept on saying this is our “standard procedure”.
Worst thing happened when the store manager started to demand for additional £150 on top of £250 saying the £250 eCDW is per claim. And I need to pay in total of £400 pounds. I am escalating this.
Companies can’t cheat and harass their customers like this.

When booking (from Australia) our 4week holiday in the UK, I did some extensive research into hire car companies and rates. VWFS Rent-a-Car Slough came up trumps with rates considerably cheaper than the well-known hire car companies and the all inclusive insurance is a bonus. Collecting the vehicle locally, rather than at Heathrow Airport was certainly cost-saving. The Skoda Scala drove really well with no issues. I would highly recommend this company if you want a good deal on a hire car.

It was my first time I've rented a car at VWFS Slough, but it was an excellent choice. I've booked Skoda Fabia Automatic and I wasn't disappointed. Whole procedure was fast, simple and understandable. No hidden fees or anything, just the car I've booked online, which was clean, almost new and exactly the one I've wanted. It was a pleasure and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a car to rent. Keep up the good work.

The whole process from booking to handover to return of the car was flawless, I hired a Skoda enyaq and have to say was extremely impressed with the car.

Another easy experience renting from VWFS in Slough. Simple, no hassle booking, pick-up and drop of; no list of extras (all you need is included); the car you want and in good condition; and at competitive rates. I will use VWFS whenever I can make it fit my plans

Another great experience from the Slough branch. Amazing service. The exact car I booked and almost brand new. Couldn’t fault the experience.
It would be nice to see cars of a slightly higher spec. As an example, a reversing camera would have been super handy as it’s a car I’m not familiar with.

Start to finish this was easy, friendly and clear of hassle. Would definitely recommend.

To be able to choose exactly which model you want to rent is fantastic on its own if you are considering buying something from the range of vehicles available but need more than 10 minutes to drive it to see if it fits on your drive and how it performs on your daily commute.
The added bonus for me was Waleed who is very efficient, polite and professional. He is an asset to your company with his excellent product knowledge and personal skills.

Efficient, professional and friendly service. There were no extra costs and the hire was reasonably priced. Will certainly use VWFS again.

Great service. Needed a rental car quickly as our gearbox failed and they had almost instant availability at competitive prices. The car was pristine and in excellent condition.
Minor issue was the car we booked online was unavailable but they were able to offer an alternative and refund the difference.

Having had bad experiences with airport hire i was hesitant to try your services .
How ever from my initial enquiry from Australia to booking you could not be faulted .
Even organising a minibus taxi for us to get to Heathrow .
Would definitely use your services again and put your name forward .

Me and my family have always used Waseem for years. highly recommended

We travelled for 2 months all around southern UK, logging up over 3,500 miles in our car from VWFS and always received prompt replies to any questions. Quick service at check-in and drop-off. Only negative for us was that prices of automatics are so high we had to accept a manual and that was horrible. Heavy traffic on most roads means lots of gear changes, lots of crawling along congested highways. Who on earth wants to drive a manual - get those auto prices down. Thanks to Waseem and David, great customer service from these gentlemen.
