Watch Philosophy レビュー 

I ordered a Hamilton watch from Watch Philosophy (via Chrono24) for my son's 21st birthday. The forecast delivery date was 2nd - 11th November and it arrived today via DHL in perfect condition and in original Hamilton packaging. I admit I was a bit wary spending that amount on a watch, sight unseen, but I needn't have worried at all. I messaged Watch Philosophy yesterday to check on delivery and had a call from Maxim within two hours to let me know it was already on its way. Absolutely excellent customer service and an unbeatable price! It's hard to contemplate buying my next watch any other way.

I bought an Omega aqua terra watch from Watch Approach and everything went smoothly, the model was already sold but they ordered a new one for me, the price was very good and Maxim was very quick to reply and very pleasant and polite. This company is quality, you can go with them blindly

I spent a long time looking for a particular Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch without success. Neither Omega nor any of it's high street stockists had one. But I then contacted Rick at Watch Philosophy who had exactly what I was looking for. I was concerned that 'New' didn't really mean new, but when it arrived it was absolutely perfect with all of it's original packaging and original protective films in place. I needed the bracelet adjusting and neither my local Goldsmiths nor Ernest Jones could undo the screws in the removable links and both quoted a 10 week (!) turnaround to the Omega Service Centre. Rick provided the direct contact details for the Service Center and my watch bracelet was adjusted by Omega within a week (and verified both the watch and the full warranty in the process). Fantastic service from Watch Philosophy from start to finish.

Fantastic in every way. I have now bought 2 new watches from these guys (an Omega and a Breitling). The prices have been super competitive and the service superb. I can highly recommend Rick and Maxim to anyone wanting a great deal on a new high end watch.

Just received a beautiful longines heritage flagship sector watch. Communication, Delivery, and dealing with Watch approach was excellent. One word says it all. "SUPERB"

Several months ago I bought a breguet classique for around £11,000, a good price more in line with a newer second hand piece rather than the new watch it was sold as. I was accordingly slightly sceptical but having seen reviews for watch philosophy (as seen on this site for example), and given I was actually looking for a second hand watch anyway, I decided to go ahead and buy. On receiving it, my suspicions were partly confirmed as eg the crown didn’t appear brand new. Nonetheless I was happy given the good price. However I became rather less happy when on perhaps my fourth wear (and first when it was raining), it immediately got water under the face. Taking it into the Breguet store, who ultimately had to send it off to Switzerland, they diagnosed it with multiple faults (including but not limited to the dial, hands, crown and tube) and put a price tag of over £2000 on it to repair. A cost I would have to bear given it had been such a short time since purchase and I hadn’t had time to transfer my insurance over to it yet (admittedly my own fault). Since then I have sent a number of emails and calls to Watch Philosophy which have never been returned or even picked up. I can forgive a company selling watches which aren’t quite brand new as new. But when those watches are actually clearly faulty to begin with and when their approach to customer service is just to ignore attempts to contact them, it becomes unforgivable. Avoid.

First class from start to finish.

Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish. The watch I was looking for unfortunately wasn't in stock but Maxim managed to source one for me and have it delivered within a few days, all for a great price. Watch arrived brand new and in perfect condition. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Very pleased that we purchased my wife's watch from Watch Philosophy. Service and value were great and we picked up the watch from their offices (Rick was a pleasure to deal with).
I'd certainly use their services again.

Unfortunately I have to give them a star - if they could get none they would.
Ordered a watch 12 Sept. No email acknowledgement and on the website the order remained 'pending'.

Called and spoke with Rick. He took down my details and said he would pass them onto a colleague.
No email or contact from the company.
Subsequently completed their contact form on their website requesting contact and an estimated delivery date.
No contact from the company.
Called today and spoke with Rick. He began talking about containers sitting with the watches waiting to pass customs etc. I said that did not explain why I have had no contact from the company after a phone call and completing their contact form online.
Rick then said he passes the information on to an administrator. He has nothing to do with it then!
When I said we will be cancelling the order Rick said 'do what you have to do' and hung up.

If I order a 50p item online I get an acknowledgement email almost instantly. Was ordering a watch costing more than £1k and never received any communication from Watch Philosophy. I am sure other businesses are quite happy to take my money...

Addendum:

Immediately after posting this review Rick called me. He said they had emailed my wife on 22 Sept and the watch has been discontinued by the manufacturer, they had called my wife many times and she had not returned any calls (no chance) etc. very angry man...

Further addendum:

Text received: 'Next before you runway with negative comments READ YOUR EMAILS'. Then a further text 'I'm hear (sic) to take your call if need be'... Poor man does not understand that his attitude makes things so much worse...

Great buying experience from order to delivery. Excellent service and communication. Stunning watch at a great price. Will definitely be buying from Watch Philosophy again soon.

Purchased a beautiful GP Laureato from WP.

Initially made contact via phone with Rick and subsequent follow ups via WhatsApp and FaceTime so they are available via many methods.

Rick was knowledgeable and quick to respond to any communications I had with him and a pleasure to deal with.

Watch arrived swiftly and was very well packaged. Paid a good price for the watch and happy with my purchase.

I would use WP for future purchases.

I recently purchased an Omega Seamaster Diver 300, after searching around I decided on Watch Philosophy after reading good reviews and checking out their website. I dealt with Rick before and during the purchase who was quick to get back to any questions I had and kept me informed on the tracking and delivery including pictures of the watch. I am really happy with the watch and the service and would highly recommend.
