What a lovely clean store, staff very polite and helpful.

Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful .
Also found it very easy to get what I needed as the shop was well organised clean and tidy :)

The Wickes staff were great with the attitude of 'Nothing matters more than the customer'

Came in last week as I needed some advice on some CALEX bulbs and Strip lights, your wonderful colleague Charlotte assisted me in finding the correct products and explained how to set them up via app.

Came into the Banbury store on a miserable Tuesday looking for some new items for my bathroom, your staff member Charlotte was extremely helpful with helping me with what I needed. She took me to the till and served me. Excellent customer service.

We recently worked with Gemma our design consultant at Wickes Banbury to plan our new bathroom, and she was absolutely brilliant from start to finish.

Gemma was so lovely to work with, friendly, approachable, and genuinely interested in helping us create something that worked for our space. Our bathroom is quite small and has no windows, but she gave us loads of clever ideas to make it feel spacious and bright without losing warmth or character. You can tell she has a real design and decorating background, she has such an eye for detail and really helped bring our vision to life.

She was also incredibly knowledgeable about the products and took the time to explain different options. At one point, she even called suppliers directly to double check details about our taps, which really showed how much she cares about getting things right.

Gemma was always quick to respond to emails and made the whole process feel easy and enjoyable. We’re so grateful for her help and can’t recommend her enough, if you’re planning a bathroom, definitely ask for Gemma Turner!

I ordered a charcoal filter for my kitchen hood from Wickes, but when it arrived, it didn’t look like the picture on their website. The one I received was missing the mesh part shown on top of the filter in the product image.

I contacted Wickes customer service to ask whether this mesh was necessary or why the product didn’t match the photo. I was completely ignored for several days, and then out of the blue I received an email asking if I was happy with their help and to rate their service — even though no one had actually helped me! What a joke.

The filter does fit, so I decided to keep it, but it’s frustrating to pay £20 for something that’s incomplete and get zero explanation from the company. If the mesh isn’t needed, why show it in the product photo? Totally useless customer service.

I’ll be shopping at B&Q from now on — at least they care about responding to their customers.

Paid and agreed for a delivery at specific day. Wickes failed to make the delivery, failed to notify me, failed to refund me until I complained.
The CEO failed to respond to 3 emails - obviously thinks he’s above corresponding to customers.
Will not be spending with Wickes again mainly because they just don’t care.

Had our bathroom designed by Trevor at Wickes Banbury which we were very pleased with what he suggested and decided to have the bathroom done. The fitter Yalmaz came and assessed the job . The bathroom has now been finished and we are very pleased with the excellent job Yalmaz has done.This is the third job Wickes Banbury has done for us,an en-suite bathroom and a fitted kitchen and all are of excellent quality.

Had a customer refer me to a Wickes kitchen. Booked an appointment with Gemma Turner who, with a trade background, constructed the kitchen design to my specification. She gave me the time and understanding to provide me with the customers requests. I also required the kitchen with a short delivery time, again Gemma provided an estimate on delivery date and confirmed once payment was processed. Would highly recommend booking a design appointment with her.

Brilliant service by a well-informed and pleasant member of staff. Hayley was brilliant, what an asset to the company. Will certainly visit again

Having deliberated for some time on who to buy our new kitchen from, we finally decided to use Wickes, based upon the promise of having a fully integrated, seamless experience. With Wickes managing the whole process from design through to the fitting.
Our initial experiences were positive, the design consultant from the Banbury centre (Trevor) seemed to be good and we were happy with the proposal he presented to us. We were also happy to hear that Wickes would source the fitter and that we would be allocated a customer care representative who would be responsible for our account.
In the following weeks we met the nominated fitter (Louis Moore) and agreed a timeframe for the installation. Everything was going smoothly up until that point. Then the issues started.

> Our Customer Experience Centre contact could never be reached. Despite multiple calls I spoke with him once in 5 weeks and he told me that he was too busy so would not be able to fix my issues

> large number of damaged parts. Panels, Doors, Sink. And the process to receive replacements was painful, with no updates being provided by CEC

>Any changes made with the CEC ended up not being implemented properly:
* Addition of under cabinet lights within the allowed time for changes. Parts were not included in the delivery. One set was finally shipped but 2 were ordered.
* Templating date change not applied, despite CEC confirmation that it had been.
* Delivery of missing Plinths not received on time, despite several promises that they were on the way, which turned out to be complete lies.
I even offered to pick them up from the warehouse myself but of course that was just too complicated for Wickes. Instead they preferred to ensure that we were totally inconvenienced by the late delivery.

> Design issues:
* We had multiple conversations with the designer about where the Dishwasher should. We purchased all of our appliances from Wickes but the designer completely missed out the Dishwasher itself. I have no idea why he would think we only needed a dishwasher door panel and not the dishwasher.

Even after complaining and being assigned a customer services spacialist, the problems continued. There seemed to be a complete lack of communication between the CEC and the rest of the organisation.
Even the people working for Wickes would say that the CEC is a complete waste of time
Our wedding was less stressful than our kitchen experience.

My recommendation is: Do not buy a kitchen from Wickes as you will probably end up wasting several hours of your life every day trying to sort out their problems.

Tilly was incredibly helpful and kind in store today. She spent ages ensuring that we were buying the correct product which colour matched. She also helped us to load the car which was very much appreciated in the rain with heavy items. A fantastic member of staff and a credit to the Banbury store. Thank you

I recently visited Wickes and was lucky enough to be helped by a truly outstanding team member by the name of Tilly. From the moment I approached them, she was incredibly kind, polite, and welcoming. Her friendly attitude immediately put me at ease, and it was clear she genuinely cared about helping me find exactly what I needed.

What impressed me most was her knowledge—she not only answered all my questions clearly, but also offered thoughtful suggestions ( I was re designing my kitchen )I hadn’t even considered. She went above and beyond to make sure I left with the right products and a smile on my face.

It’s rare these days to meet someone who combines professional expertise with genuine warmth, but Tilly did exactly that. A credit to Wickes as well as Tilly. I’ll definitely be back thanks to her exceptional service!

Great customer service. I’m a regular customer at this store. Zarah is always really helpful and polite every time I visit this store. Zarah has a very positive attitude towards ensuring the customers needs are met and any problems get resolved quickly and efficiently. This is a great store, with very helpful staff.

Friendly and helpful staff. Well stocked and easy to navigate.

I was only able to find 2 assistants to help with what I needed . Fortunately, Tony was keen and helpful. If he hadn't been there, I would probably have left the store. Thank you Tony.
