Great initial consultation from Doug at the Crewe store. Only had initial consultation so far, so can't yet vouch for the end to end service but he took our requirements, challenges and style and designed something that exceeded our expectations, helping with all our queries along the way

Sales person, Andrew Critchley., Crewe store. Very helpful and very patient. Professional and friendly. Gave me options on how to complete the job.

Arrived at 6.50 pm for a 7 pm design slot. Designer was busy with another couple. Stayed until 7.45 pm. Store closing at 8 pm. The designer obviously concentrating on his previous booking. Nice guy on the till was apologetic when I said I take it I had wasted my time waiting. No comparison to the absolute professionalism experienced at the local B and Q

Our review is based on the design and customer service from the Wickes Crewe designer only.
We had gone through the will we won’t we replace our kitchen, after going round the main players in replacement kitchens, we wanted to stick to a Crewe outlet and of the top two we decided on Wickes.
The desgner could not have done anymore for us , he created and chopped and changed our ideas on what we wanted tenacity comes to mind , after much what about this and that we had a final design and cost , the cost was within my early estimate .
Before ordering we sat down and brain stormed the pros and cons at which point our future plans didn’t warrant changing our kitchen.
If you are thinking on changing your kitchen the design staff at Crewe we have no hesitation in recommending them for your start point.

We had Doug round to measure our kitchen and start our design process. As soon as he walked through the door he was very friendly, approachable and actually listened to what we wanted to gain from the kitchen, he took the time to talk to me about my family to gain a better understanding of what kind of household the kitchen will be in, the kitchen is a big part of our day where we cook and talk and spend a lot of our time as a family with 2 big dogs and I trust his knowledge and experience to create a space to reflect that. He was very supportive in discussions regarding previous bad experiences with a different kitchen supplier and provided us with ideas we hadn't thought of. No question was stupid. An all round thorough process and can't wait to see the designs.

Excellent throughout! Andrew Critchley was great from start to finish. Helped throughout, so many choices ! Would highly recommend!

Had all the items I needed and, when requested loaded the car for me. Most helpful.

Super helpful service - staff went out of their way to hat a product that wasn’t even out in the shelves.

We found Wikes assistant SARAH was absolutely amazing, she showed us the items we wanted and DANIEL assistant manager, came to show us the best way to use the product to get the best results, well done WIKES,we will definitely shop there for all our needs .

Really helpful and friendly staff. They went out of their way to help me today with a quite heavy click and collect item. They even asked if they could help me take it to the car.

Had an appointment for new kitchen. We had Douglas at the Crewe branch. He was very good very helpful and extremely knowledgeable about designing. He made the finished plan look fabulous. Very happy with the service we received.

I can not fault the design service or fitting both were excellent. But the after sales support once you have paid is appalling. We have a radiator that is not fit for purpose it bangs all the time so loud we can not turn it on. Despite 4mths of trying to get Wickes to come out to inspect all we get is that the manufacturer of the radiator says it’s not a problem. I just want Wickes to come and hear it. They were quick to come out when we were ordering a £17000 kitchen but will not visit now we have a problem. All I want is a working radiator. Beware if there is a problem after paying!

Hi Scott thank you for your prompt response. Our kitchen order number was 565704.
As you are aware we are delighted with our kitchen and the installation was superb. Our issue is the unresolved problem with our sink mixer tap stem which has developed pink spots on the upper and underside of the tap neck. We took photos of the issue and went to the Crewe store and discussed this with our Designer. We were told we would get a replacement in 3 to 5 days which unfortunately did not happen. We visited the store again and were told it would be chased up. A few days later we were left an
message on our home answerphone stating the tap would be delivered direct to our home address. As nothing was received we visited the Crewe store for a third time and a lady said we need to get in contact with customer service. My wife rang customer service on 3 seperate occasions with no one answering her calls. We then received an E Mail from customer services requesting images of our tap. I made several attempts to get the photo's E Mailed to the reply E Mail address and kept getting "This E Mail address cannot
accept replies at this time " This was frustrating so we E Mailed images to the Crewe Store and also to customer services. Eventually the pictures must have been received as we had a reply from customer services on Thursday 4th Dec stating the issue with the tap had been rejected due to our own poor aftercare or that we had used abrasive cleaning substances. I was insensed as the tap and stem has only ever been wiped
with a dry cloth and had never been subjected to impact, yet the brass overlay has flaked off leaving small pink dots. Our kitchen installers revisited out property to attach a radiator and we asked them to look at the tap and they informed us it
was faulty. I have sought further advice and the pink spots is the copper from the base metal appearing due to dezincification which is basically a breakdown of the brass alloy with the likely cause some impurities in the base
metal corroding the brass overlay from within.This would correlate because the spots are in a line on both the upper side and lower side of the neck. Had we used a abrasive cleaner the whole spout and tap body would have been affected which is not the case. From our first enquiry at the store then the follow up from Max Hardy from the Kitchen Department, from the measuring of my kitchen and the professional and polite attitude that Max provided i couldn’t be more happy nothing was to much trouble no question was left unanswered and he designed me a great kitchen with everything I wanted and more and I had no hesitation in ordering through him and would recommend his service to anybody.

MY Wife and Ihave had three 3 kitchens from WICKES,and all purchased with the same designer,Doug,each time Doug has been professional,polite,humerous,and effiecently corrected small delivery problems ,his helpful manner was imense...

Doug Richards is a credit to this store. He has designed several spaces for me including a bathroom, en-suite, dressing room / wardrobes and a kitchen. He always comes up with innovative designs within my budget and was great when I had a delivery issue on one occasion. He goes above and beyond, is knowledgeable and trustworthy. I wouldn’t go anywhere else now.
