Wickes - Halesowen レビュー 

I am utterly appalled by the level of disorganisation and sheer disregard for customer time demonstrated by Wickes. My experience with their kitchen measuring service has been nothing short of a farce, marked by repeated incompetence and a complete absence of accountability.

The first appointment, scheduled for 21 June, was abruptly cancelled just half an hour before it was due to take place. No meaningful explanation was provided, only a vague message that someone would be in touch to rearrange. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled for 29 June. That, too, was a waste of time. No one turned up. No courtesy call. No apology. Nothing. It was as if the appointment had never existed.

I decided to try one last time, giving Wickes yet another chance to redeem themselves. The third appointment was set for 6 July. Once again, nobody bothered to turn up. Not even the decency of a phone call. I had arranged my entire day around this visit, only to be left waiting like a fool for the third time.

This is not just poor service. It is shambolic. If Wickes cannot manage the basic logistics of a home visit, how on earth are customers meant to trust them with something as significant and costly as a kitchen renovation? The arrogance of wasting people’s time repeatedly without any form of redress or explanation is disgraceful.

I am now left with the distinct impression that Wickes simply does not value its customers. Their systems are clearly broken, and their communication is abysmal. I would strongly caution anyone considering their kitchen service to think again. Reliable they are not, and respectful of your time they certainly are not.

An utter shambles from start to finish. Wickes should be ashamed.

We had a fantastic experience and it was all thanks to Paul Potter. From picking out our kitchen, to planning, right down to payment and finance, he was a wonderfully candid, transparent and friendly person. Listened to our questions and concerns, clarified everything, and more.

We were looked after by Paul Potter at the Halesowen Branch. Paul gave us exceptional customer service from start to finish.

Tahera has been so helpful throughout the whole process with our new kitchen.
Very down to earth and have been able to ask any questions and got all the answers.

My initial consultation with Tahera Rahman was about a new kitchen. I was so impressed with the design she did for me, her professionalism and quality of work that I decided to get a complete bathroom refit from Wickes too, and again Tahera worked with me to bring my vision to life and design my dream bathroom.
Nothing has been too much trouble for Tahera, she’s been proactive in her contact with me, regularly checking in to make sure everything is going to schedule and making sure I’m happy with everything. She’s gone above and beyond to ensure a great customer experience, and this along with the fantastic designs she’s done for me is why I would recommended anyone to use Wickes
She’s a credit to the company, it’s been great to work alongside someone who is genuinely passionate about their work, is friendly and personable and is fantastic at what they do!

Paul Potter was hugely knowledgeable and helpful. He was also very patient with us so we never felt rushed or pushed when making our decisions about our new kitchen. Paul at the Halesowen branch has been very helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating when planning and costing out our kitchen design. We have chosen to also have our kitchen fitted by Wickes, so I now hope the fitters standard and attention to detail, lives up to the service we have had so far from Paul!

Appalling ordeal from the very start bathroom fitted in September 2024 been leaking and other bits bodged by Wickes approved contractor used tile strips to finish facing off of upvc boarding with wrong edging email after email being ignored very long process wickes refuse to acknowledge our complaint and being left in the dark going to contact the OMBUDSMAN!

I visited the store today, for some screws… I asked the cashiers where I could find the screws, and Jayne was the first to help me, with a beautiful smile.

I was then served by Jayne who assisted with an open screw box. Jayne was so pleasant, helpful and polite.

Excellent service!
We had our kitchen design and purchase today with Paul Potter, he was very helpful and knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble.
If the rest of the process is as trouble free as this first part we are really looking forward to enjoying our new kitchen.

I went into Wickes after going to another well known DIY store, looking for help with twin slot shelving.
The customer service we experienced was 1000% better than the other store.
We was assisted by Josh, and he made the whole process much easier with his support and knowledge than it would have been alone.
The standard for customer service is unfortunately not very high, but even so, Josh was friendly, helpful, made our day and would have been there for a lot longer if it wasn't for his help.

(B&Q can suck it, Wickes all the way).

We've visited a couple of times to speak with Tahera about getting our new kitchen designed. She has been unbelievabley helpful and cannot recommend her enough! She went above and beyond to help us find something we liked and really is a credit to the company- give her a bonus ;)
