When it comes to customer service, I would give the young man James 10 out of 10. James went all out to support me with selecting the items I needed and answered all my questions with considerable patience. To top it all James then escorted me to my car and loaded it too. James took a great deal of pressure off of my shopping experience and made it a pleasure. Thank you James. A totally satisfied customer, thanks to you.

Went in for a 2nd quote on a kitchen layout. Fast, friendly and sensible design. Price want bad either

What a lovely, helpful , friendly and knowledgeable team are the Maidstone branch. They spent time with me to work out the best options and prices. I can’t recommend them highly enough. They also for filled a grant application for us, our charity is extremely grateful for your support

Richard was so helpful and very patient with us while designing our dream kitchen. He had great ideas and planned the perfect kitchen for our renovation space. We will be going back to plan our bathrooms with him.

What a great store from the management team to the colleague on the shop floor helpful polite 10/10

Richard from the design team has been very helpful with the few snagging issues I've had with the supply and fitting of my Wickes kitchen. He's always available, responds very swiftly via email, answering queries, ordering missing and extra panels efficiently and offers great suggestions and advice. A pleasure to deal with.

We visited Wickes in Maidstone and the kitchen designer Richard Moloney was fantastic. He advised us all the way through our journey and kept us informed of any updates. The communication between Richard and ourselves was easy and when we had a slight problem with the order by missing two items Richard was able to assist us until it was resolved. The kitchen fitters were also fantastic and we are very pleased with our new amazing kitchen.

Bad got 1 item from my order main part missing and been marked as delivered phone lines not open as the delivery arrived rather late so emailed him instead that said it takes 72 hours for a response. Yeah I needed my items tonight so that I could start on the weekend but they have not arrived as scheduled and a as paid for

Made a purchase at the Maidstone store and Jim was on the till, he was super helpful.

I had a great experience at Wickes thanks to Jim. He was very helpful when I was choosing paint—patient, knowledgeable, and he made the process simple. His advice gave me confidence in my choice, and I left the store feeling well looked after.

We have had nothing but problems with Wickes. 

Firstly they had to refund us £500 because they tried to bill us over the agreed amount, then we had to get additional floor tiles because they had the floor and wall measurements round the wrong way. 

Now, our shower is lifting our floor tiles and leaking into our living room and first floor because they didn't waterproof our shower. Then to make matters worse, they are now hiding behind warranty. Fraud and deceptive practices are not covered by warranty in the contract. Neither is negligence.

To add to this... They are hiding behind their warranty. How can they claim that the sealant is out of warranty when the sealant was clearly never installed in the shower in the first place? As per the testimony of a third party contractor that we got in to inspect their work.

Do not use Wickes kitchen service. It's a complete lottery as to what fitters you will get. The fitting service we received was poor with lots of problems around the poor quality finishing and having to pay additional costs to fitters for work that should have been done in the first place. Customers should be aware that complaints to Wickes fell on deaf ears. Wickes made it clear any issues with the fitters they appointed to fit our kitchen was nothing to do with them. Caveat emptor!!!

Addendum: After weeks of complaining to Wickes directly about the poor quality workmanship of the kitchen fitters they appointed someone from Wickes has responded to my review within an hour of publishing it. If only Wickes were as keen to solve problems as it is on platitudes and public relations. Again as a professional landlord I can only warn customers to avoid this company. Caveat emptor!

I use the store infrequently and was unsure where a few items were stocked. One of the employees (Jim) was extremely helpful and friendly

I visit Wickes Maidstone most mornings & the staff; Kevin, Pete, Marie & Tracy, are always friendly.
The store opens at 7am which is great for picking up everything you need for a days work.
Tradepro discount is what keeps me happy. Doesn't matter how much you spend each month to keep the 10% discount.

Visited Wickes in Maidstone today to get materials for a DIY project. It stocked everything I needed but the really amazing part was just how helpful a member of the team called Jim was, his knowledge and experience is a credit to this branch and I will be back soon. Thank you!

I'd purchased 20 slabs and asked if anyone could assist, a lovely man from the Maidstone branch immediately helped me and fully loaded the car before helping another gentleman carry a return into store. Perfect customer service Jim, I really appreciated the help.

Very helpful staff at the Maidstone Wickes. Jim helped me with my cart and put my heavy good into my boot for me. Thank you.
