Easy ordering, good staff too. John helped me by bringing my purchased top soil out to the car and loaded it into the boot for me which I was extremely grateful. Product is good quality and this is 2nd time I have been to this store and will be returning again in the future.

Jack at the Wickes Community Project was extremely helpful in getting donations for the Reception Outdoor Classroom at Nutgrove Methodist Primary School. The school were donated plant sleepers, stones and soil which will allow us to create a nature based learning environment for children. The Wickes Community Project was a straight forward process that was managed wonderfully by Jack who had our resources ready to collect in a timely manner. We are incredibly grateful.

A lesson in poor customer service, called in for one last piece of square downpipe, none in the rack so I asked if they had any in-stock to be told I don't know anything about plumbing, turned around to another staff member and then told none of us know anything about plumbing, quite what you need to know about plumbing to check stock is anyone's guess of to B&Q then

Even though paint has gone very expensive ,wicks was the better paint and way cheaper than bq and staff were amazing, showing me how to down load the wicks app for the discount! Particular the young lady mischa ! Whose parents must be so proud!👏👏

I would like to offer my feedback to your colleague Shirley.
I visited your Southport store on 20th March, 2026. I was standing near the entrance looking at your aisle signage ( not knowing where to begin) I was approached by Shirley who took me to the aisle I needed. She could see I had a list of things to buy & showed me the relevant areas. Not satisfied with that she came back a little while later "just to check you have found everything".
Shirley was cheerful & helpful with her guidance and asset to your company.

We are bowled over by our new Wickes kitchen!
Top marks go to Steve Ambler (Southport branch) for his design ingenuity which has transformed a dysfunctional space into a sleek, attractive and practical kitchen with real ‘wow’ factor.
A new kitchen is a big undertaking and Steve’s experience and expertise, from the design stage and throughout the process, has been invaluable. He is clearly dedicated to his customers having the best experience possible, always making himself available to guide and assist and he has continued to impress us all the way through to final completion of our project.
Our Wickes allocated fitter was Simon Howarth - he and his team have done a superb job turning Steve’s creation into reality for us - and his work was all done swiftly, with minimum disruption and always with a cheery demeanour …. even when he had the unenviable task of chiselling up an expanse of thick ceramic floor tiles, ready for new flooring.
We thoroughly recommend Wickes, for all the reasons outlined above and our bit of advice to any reader is to bear in mind that Wickes can be a ‘one stop shop’ as they are also able to take care of the flooring aspect in contrast to some other kitchen firms which do not offer that.

Ellie and James were both absolutely fantastic and nothing was to much trouble. Very professional and explained everything vey clearly. Both Ellie and James are a very large credit to Wickes Southport branch.

Firstly the Designer Steve Ambler could see all the problems we had. He ensured all the Units would line up on the main wall which included the Fridge Freezer , Washer/dryer Machine, the integral soil pipe, the hob,oven and extractor fan. His design skills are very good. The plan he gave us with the Island in the centre as a feature was excellent. The Fitter was Malcolm of Malwood Services. We are delighted,,,,,,. Also, Steve helped us to design the Bathroom. In which we removed the bath and fitted an enclosed shower which is perfect for our stage in life (retirerees) . The Fitters Gary for the Bathroom were Excellent. We also asked Gary for a quote to convert a small cupboard downstairs into a Toilet with Handbasin. Which has transformed out house. We would recommend anyone to use Wicks Services. We also had the Benefit of 0% interest on the purchase of both the Kitchen and Bathroom so it could all be fitted at the same time. The after Sales Service is Excellent. We decided we would like to add another Unit to the kitchen for further storage and without any problems this was arranged. I now have my Dream Kitchen with PAN DRAWS and lots of storage space and work areas. It's the perfect place to Host friends and family all year round. Thank you Wicks

My young daughter wanted some paint samples for her bedroom so we visited the Wickes Southport store for the first time. Damian was very helpful in matching a suitable colour for her and he mixed up a paint sample for us. My daughter loved watching the paint being produced and we thank Damian for his help and assistance.

Excellent service from Ellie who arranged my delivery quickly and most efficiently . I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Went in to get some play sand and was courteously assisted by Oli. I decided at the till I needed 2 bags and Oli went back to the aisle and not only brought it to the checkout but also carried the extra bag to my car. Thanks Oli - very much appreciated 👍

Damian the duty manager couldn’t have been any more helpful and customer focus if he tried. He assisted me to my car with my click and collect order and only when I was ready to drive off did I realise I had ordered the wrong type of door. He came to my car and picked the door and arranged the correct item with ease. Such a clean store with great stock levels and amazing customer service.

Unsure about product and delivery details, Ellie was brilliant she guided us and fully explained all aspects and details, will recommend your southport shop to others 😀

Went into Southport store today ,very impressed with everything they sell , thought it was just kitchens etc but much better than b&q , was served by a very helpful girl called Shirley , she helped me set up an trade account which saved me 15% off my bill straight away , will definitely be recommending this store and using again

Was met at door with meet and greet Damian. He was extremely helpful. He spent about half an hour helping and advising us. He suggested some cheaper options that were more affordable and within our budget.

Shirley was very helpful when I came in, what a wonderful lady, very polite and happy, made my trip so easy and will be back because of her, what a credit to the store! Thank you

Went looking for a particular front door replacement handle , could not find it as I was about to leave the store i was approached by the most helpful store attender ( Shirley) of the Southport store. She went on there PC and sorted through all locks. And even managed to up sell some other products. Her service was beyond meeting service expectations. I would definitely check out Southport Wickes before there competitors for products because if all employees are like Shirley professional and world class service.

Met wonderful Rachel today in store who was my life saver my fence paint I used ran out on last fence but was discontinued but Rachel mixed one up to match - problem solved !

Went to the store on Saturday for the event. Lovely welcome at the entrance with goody bags. Unfortunately I didn't get a goody bag as I didn't sign up . The guy from Harris was great to talk to.

I only wanted to order some items for delivery so went over to the desk. Very busy and waited for maybe 5 mins in queue. 

Baljit who did my order was fantastic and quick. She apologised for keeping me waiting. She completed my delivery order and payment quicker than the time I was waiting in queue. Brilliant customer service.

Great to see actual members of staff with trades knowledge.
Mike was so helpful with tips and advice regarding painting/decorating tips. Only problem was, he wouldn't come round to paint my ceiling 🤣🤣
