Harry Lawrence was excellent in helping to design our kitchen and we couldn’t be more pleased with the end product. The only criticism we have is the difficulty in resolving issues with customer services which meant a long wait on telephone calls and slow delivery for replacement/new parts.

The recent customer service to resolve the balance of a refund has been totally unacceptable!
I have spent hours on the phone in order to resolve this matter. But, passed from department to department, made promises that have come to nothing to date.
My emails are not replied to, despite being told the matter is being looked at.
The refund for £105.00 was first raised on 27 February 2025 & despite assurances from various departments, I am still waiting. I will call again on 31st March 2025.
It seems I simply being passed from one department to another - shocking.
I've given 2 stars as I have received part refund, otherwise, it would have been 1 star!

After visiting Wickes Thetford to have some paint samples mixed I’d like to say how helpful ‘Ivo’ was, nothing was too much trouble, a very polite, helpful young man. Thank you 🤩

I was a bit unsure as to the items that I needed and a young lady member of staff, Kayleigh, was so really helpful to me and everything came to a perfect conclusion.

I ordered my kitchen from Wickes at thetford.David Bowden made everything so easy.He designed my kitchen and kept in touch throughout the whole process to make sure everything was going to plan.The team were amazing from Keith to the electrician. &tiler. I would have no hesitation. In recommending David Bowden.as your kitchen Designer.

We found exactly what we were looking for and were helped by Harry to design our kitchen. We pretty much knew what we wanted, but he expertly put our ideas down onto paper and ordered everything that was needed. Even after our kitchen was delivered and one of the doors arrived a little bit damaged, we spoke to Harry and he sorted us out with a new replacement door without any trouble. He really put us first and did everything possible to make replacing our kitchen as eady and hassle free as possible. Thanks Harry!

Hi have been dealing with Harry over a new kitchen,from the word go explain it's just a small galley kitchen always worried that it wasnt worth his time and his expertise to come out and look, was put at ease as soon as he walk in he put together a design and gave us time and explained it all ,couldnt ask for more Brilliant

Our kitchen has just been finished, we are delighted with the result.
Harry Lawrence from Wickes Thetford did the planning and the kitchen was fitted by Mark.
Everything went smoothly, Mark is meticulous with his work.

This is the 3rd time we have ordered and the 2nd time we have had the kitchen fitted by Wickes' recommended installers. The fitters, Colin Watkins and his apprentice Scott, were excellent. So were his contractors (electrician and plasterer). They were all punctual, polite, professional, time-efficient and tidy.
During the build of our new kitchen Colin frequently checked with us to ensure even minor points were to our satisfaction. Can't praise them enough. Ordering the kitchen and having plans drawn up with Wickes' kitchen planner(s) was straightforward: Sarah was equally professional and friendly as usual.

We purchased this bath with a bathroom designed by Wickes. When we unpackaged it to install it, there was damage to the acrylic at one end. It looks like a dry spot where not enough resin was used and as a result, there was weak spot. At some point between manufacture and delivery, it must have been damaged and as we left it packaged up to protect the bath, we did not notice the damage.

When we did notice the damage, we tried calling customer services on the number provided and after 2 hours and 37 minutes on hold, we were told to send photographs and we would hear back by the end of the day, or at the latest the next morning. Nobody got back to us, so we called the designer in store, who eventually sent us a two sentence email saying the bath won't be replaced because it was delivered just outside the 28 day returns period, even though it has a 25 year warranty. There is no escalation process and we are now out of pocket as we will have to buy a new bath from elsewhere.

Order from Wickes at your peril! We will never spend another penny with them.

Perhaps your delivery operatives could learn to drive, have some respect for neighbourhoods and not drive off when they have clearly damaged a power line. Following their hasty departure from Santon Downham they left me with no electric until 11.30pm. If this were not bad enough they managed to damage oak trees and left branches snapped on the country lane. Well done !

Wickes has been amazing from start to finish. I had a fantastic female designer who helped me through the whole process and really listened to what I wanted and gave helpful suggestions along the way. Every time I came back to her she was only too happy to help. Everything was purchased from Wickes and was reasonably priced. My installer, which was booked through Wickes, was amazing too. We talked through everything in advance of installation and the installation process itself went seemlessly. A very professional, friendly service and they even looked out for the safety of my indoor cat during installation. All of this, coupled with the support of the customer service consultant meant that everything ran smoothly from start to finish, I couldn't recommend them more highly - outstanding!

Had my kitchen designed instore,got parking ticket,took a while to sort out and lots of emails and phone calls,delivery drivers don't really care how they handle the goods as they will be replaced if damaged..anyway my larder doors are very badly damaged and they won't replace them as I'm over the 30 days,I'm 5 days over..I actually asked in the store about this as kitchens take a long time to fit and was assured,they would replace any damaged goods,now I have to buy both doors again,without discount,and risk them being damaged again,my kitchen had lots of damage ,but I managed to work round most of it ...,(how can you check every box,theres loads ,then they wont be completely safe as the packaging will be open,and torn...)but I can't work round a whole corner missing of a door and a crushed corner on the other door,,I'm disgusted,and disheartened with wickes.just want to add that the team at the wickes store thetford have been amazing,they have tried hard to replace my 2 damaged doors,offering a 10% discount,and tonight I visited the thetford store to order new doors,and was told that I do not have to pay for them again as they do not feel that,that is the right outcome,I'm truly amazed and so grateful,so Sarah and Harry and the store manager...I want to thankyou so much for kindness and compassion.....customer service you are the ones who need to do better,much better...I give thetford wickes ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I normally trust wickes products but I recently purchased a kitchen tap a WRAS Curve mono mixer tap which certainly wasn’t cheap costing £90 upon fitting I was instantly disappointed erratic spray pattern and dripping when turned off. But to my surprise customer services stepped up and reported this to the store I purchased from, who in turn contacted me the manager did a refund without having to remove and return the tap which I thought was excellent service and restored my confidence in Wickes who I’ve never had problems with previously thank you all

Had a bathroom design done by Harry Lawrence. He came round to measure up, listened to what we wanted and made some constructive suggestions that we appreciated. He was prompt and polite as he has consistently been in all our interactions since. We have been back & forth a few times and asked him to make changes where we have had different ideas as we've gone on. He has always been polite, friendly, straightforward, patient and followed up quickly. We have been to a number of other bathroom companies, I won't name them here, and Harry stands out head and shoulders individually/personally above any other sales person we have come across. We would thoroughly recommend Harry for design and as a point of contact. At this point we haven't actually had the bathroom fitted so can't comment on the product, but we will follow up with feedback when we do. It is a pleasure to find a person of Harry's nature to help us design and plan our bathroom.

I went to wickes in Thetford today and I want to say thank you to both Joe and Megan for their help. However I want to say the girl at the checkout was totally unhelpful and had a shocking attitude!

I ordered some kitchen units from Wickes, Thetford. I spoke to David Bowden who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. David gave a few very good suggestions which worked a treat and helped to transform my room.

We ordered our new bathroom From Wickes in Thetford, from beginning to end It was Professional and friendly. Sarah Cochius came to our home to take a look and measure up, she listened to our needs and designed the perfect bathroom. She then took the time to get it right, nothing was too much trouble. Then Bob Willis came on board as our bathroom fitter. His attention to detail was amazing and he was able to think on his feet when things needed a wiggle. Bob was Tidy though out and he was Fab with our dog.( Very important) It was Great knowing that we could go to work and leave him to it. He worked 6 days a week for 4 weeks to bring the project in on time. We have the perfect bathroom. These 2 members of staff are a credit to Wickes.
The Only Issue we had was with the delivery, we were told it would come in 2 parts and we needed to be there. I took 2 days off work and no delivery, this does need to be tighten up.

Hi, I'm wondering how my kitchen warranty works. I call, report the problem and someone should contact me.
But there is no answer. Wickes expect only a positive image and reviews. Mr. Elliot from customer service should respond from time to time to a phone call or email that was sent to him as well. The worst thing is that I have to pay for it anyway. I've tried to add photos but I can't. So I'll list in points.
1:badly laid tiles on the floor.
2: screwed screw in the middle of the cabinet.
3: worktop edge damage
4:Poorly placed joint between tiles/lots holes
5:No distance between the electric socket and the gas pipe hob( should be minimum 25mm)
6:Water leakage from the main pipe after one day ( after the Anglia Water intervention they turn off the main valve outside)
I managed to find the plumber who was done the work. He came, repaired it, thank you for your help. That's why I only gave two stars.
