When I bought my property the seller gave me a letter of comfort from Wise Property advising that a damp patch on my flat wall was caused by salt contamination. Back in 2012 I paid them £12k for work on rising damp and was given a 20 year gaurantee. After the issue returned I called them out only for them to advise that the treatment they carried out was for dry rot as per drawings and a schedule that both Aileen and Karen told me repeatedly didn't exist. Unfortunately the 2 guys i dealt with have now retired.Not only have they charged me £195 for an inspection but they have offered to carry the works out at 3 times the price of a competitor. Avoid this company like the plague and they also have the wrong phone number for the Barrhead office on their website.Avoid..update for me to see the report that they claim doesn't exist they want to charge £60..still haven't heard back from them either 😑

WPC treated our home for active woodworm. They were very accommodating when we had to postpone the original date at short notice. Communications were quick and helpful.
On the day of the treatment everything was explained comprehensively. There was no mess or lingering smell, I wouldn't have known anyone was here! Very happy with this service and would use again.
I cannot remember his name sadly but the chap who did the treatment was great so I particularly wanted to mention him. Thank you!

Grant was working on site for us could not have been anymore helpful nothing was a problem showed him around the job he just got on with it.

Wise Property Care was recommended to me by another contractor and we really hit gold! We were in trepidation about replacing the timber safe lintel above the bedroom window in our Edinburgh New Town flat, which had been damaged by water ingress. We knew that this would be a horrible job but Wise Property Care organised and completed the work with the minimum of fuss.

From start to finish we have been treated as valued clients. Ciarán carried out the initial survey and provided a detailed report, advice and a schedule of works which was most helpful. The work was carried out promptly in accordance with our requirement that it needed to be completed prior to other planned work within our property. The work has been carried out as scheduled and to a high standard. Wise’s contract manager Derek along with technicians Lance, Kevin, Neil, Jay & Grant all went the extra mile and couldn’t have done more to make this a problem free process. They made sure that the work site was left clean & tidy. The plasterer (?Ernie), has carried out a beautiful job with care and attention and much more quickly than expected. All electrics have been restored at the end of the job.

All in all, Wise Property Care made what we anticipated to be a traumatic process, into an stress-free experience. I cannot praise this firm highly enough & I would not hesitate to consult and employ them to carry out any other work in my property.

The experience was excellent from the online booking, quick response to make an appointment, the very informative and helpful surveyor, the comprehensive report, the quick quotation and on acceptance, the arrangement to do the work, the helpful contracts manager and the truly excellent technicians who did the work and all at a reasonable price.First class all round. Would highly recommend.

The technical work done was great, as always. Grant and Connor were always happy to talk through the issues, potential solutions and were patient with questions.

Downgraded a star as the background Admin wasn't as good as previous interactions have been. Paperwork that used to take a day to turn around was now taking several days and communication levels from backroom staff was poor and often needed chasing.

As a result of a damp report carried out by Wise Property care it was found that Damp Proofing was required, They quoted for the work and carried out necessary work. I was booked in within 2 weeks and the work was carried out without issue. Tradesmen were professional and tidy.

Work completed within timescale and to a high standard - Grant was very professional, friendly and knowledgable:-)

The actual treatment process was excellent with Grant arriving for the afternoon as planned, being friendly, helpful and efficient.
My only query was that I had to chase up things happening with the Inverness office. Twice I called here, gave my details for someone to call me back, which didn't happen on both occasions. My dealings with Derek was always met with a prompt response.

We had a great experience with Wise Property Care. Our work was to re-joist a whole room due to rot and the age of a house built in the 1890s. The engineer was clean, on time, and helpful, and we couldn't be happier with the work.

Wise have been controlling Japanese Knot weed at our property for the past 4 years. We have found the service very good. Brian our technician is a great communicator and always lets us know what he has done and how things are progressing. His follow up reports also tell us everything we need to know.
