As others have found I put in an order for a uPVC pipe for delivery date 1/10. It didn't arrive. Spoke to them and they said it would be 8/10. Didn't arrive. I spoke to them and they said it definitely would be 9/10. Didn't arrive. They asked if they could cut the pipe in half and will deliver 10/10... I'm not going to hold my breath.

I'd advise that people don't order with Wolesley unless there is no other option.

Excellent members of staff. Always helpful. Prefer to use over city plumbing. Good selection of tools and materials. Long may they be a merchants for plumbers in the Gillingham area. Well done lads !! Paul 👍

Today I was served by a foreign guy who was barely
intelligible and didn't have a clue how to find my order but what really made me cringe was the loud sniffed and snorted the whole way through my transaction.

I visited the Leatherhead branch to get advice/parts. I needed to link up where a waste disposal unit had been removed, showed the guy at the desk photos of missing pipework and he advised on the best options. He showed patience and a willingness to help someone who had no idea how to fix a problem. Top service.

We bought a bathroom suite from the Nantwich branch about eight years ago (I think it was the plumb centre then).
On one of the cupboard doors under the sink one of the hinges failed - we must have had a damp atmosphere - it had rusted.
I took the hinges off to replace them because there are a variety of soft close hinges I went back to the Nantwich branch but they don’t carry spares - they said they can emit the company for some but then a girl working there (I think her name was Helen) said she did have a pair of the hinges in her desk drawers but after looking through them a few minutes she could find none but said if I wait a few minutes she’d look upstairs ( maybe spares or stock?).
After five minutes she came down with one - I said any chance of a second one- she went back and eventually came with a second one!
I said that’s brilliant - how much is that - she said “to you no charge they’re ex display”.
You rarely get such considerate service as that!

Called in for advice at carrmere rd Sunderland and to buy item first man who greeted me was fine then big man with glasses and attitude was very unhelpful and rude so I said it doesn't matter and turned to walk out and was told by the same man to p+SS off and go elsewhere

I am going to write this review with every assurance that no one can say differently about two particular gentlemen, who serve with enthusiasm at the Haverhill branch. I have already mentioned Matt, but his colleague, Kev is equally obliging and so helpful in every sense, taking the time to explain, being a DIY man myself. immensely appreciated.

Shocking service. Phoned to enquire where my order was having spoke to company about 5 days before. They said they just missed it. I was having kitchen redone and informed part would be here today. They were not even in the process of sending despite a conformation email saying it would be here today. I paid tradesman to do work based on the guarantee from these guys. Part not even posted......brilliant

After calls and emails about me using the branch again I was served by guy that didn't have a clue what he was doing and then had the cheek to ask for a review so here it is.

Great service in Fareham branch, Team very helpful.
Good stock of Airsource parts and quick delivery

Polite staff, helpful to a complete novice! Will return.

I am a regular customer at Moreton branch looking for commercial plumbing parts and nothing is too much trouble for 3 amigos employed there. They will always find a solution for me although they don’t stock everything thanks guys

Not so good at dealing with mental health issues 👍 I'm a member of staff and they couldn't care less about us unless there's something inline with destroying their false credibility. Had an issue at work and followed all the correct procedures only to be stoned walled, got in contact with HR about my issue and considering I suffer with mental health bombarder me with endless possibilities that would only make the issue worse(kinda the opposite to HR). Lots more to say just ask!.....

Would of put no star as the sales team at Ashton Under Lynn “Adi” was very rude and cocky… rang wrong store by accident and l asked was told rudely that l rang the wrong branch… l then asked for the number and “Adi” reply was aggressive and under mining by saying “You Want Me Take It Back To The Other Branch For you AsWell” ??? Wow… l love you stand in front of me Adi and say that all l asked was for the Trafford Park Branch Number… l no will Also send a email to the MD of Wolseley !!! No need be rude and obnoxious . Don’t bother dealing with in cooperative sales people at worsley

I absolutely hate trying to order anything from this company.

When I try to login I always have problems and end up having to reset my password etc. I’m 100% certain it’s correct but it always happens.

The stuff they stock is fine but their IT is a complete nightmare. I try to avoid using them unless I absolutely have to because I know I’ll rip my hair out!

Come on Wolseley, if Screwfix can operate a half decent website, why can’t you?

Trying to pay a bill to this firm is a nightmare of complexity. In a bid to log in I have gone round and round, answering the same questions about 20 times. I changed my password to no avail, confirmed ten times that I was a customer etc etc.
They don't accept cheques -why not, too simple?
I will now deal with a firm where normal people will take your card, give you a receipt and the product. This used to be simple but not with EWolesley. tHey will now have to call me to get paid - they are a waste of space.

Ordered a shower tray to arrive on Tuesday. No sign of the delivery, contact support who say "the delivery van had a flat tyre" will be delivered Wednesday.

Contact support Wednesday evening, am told initially it was delivered Tuesday, until I remind them about the flat tyre, told to wait until the morning.

Thursday morning I'm told the branch has a stock take and no more deliveries until Monday. At this point I asked for a refund.

Either this company is utterly incompetent, or the shower tray was out of stock and they were playing for time. Avoid at all costs, absolute gamble if you will actually get what you order.

I ordered a carbon monoxide alarm and I chose the delivery date for 29th May, Thursday. Alarm hasn't arrived.
I contacted to the company. I was told by Cameron that the branch did not put my item on delivery schedule. The next available day is Monday, 2nd June between 8-9.30 am. (He scheduled this date, time without asking me first. When he told me he done it for me I just said ok.)
Here I am, 10 am, delivery nowhere, so I contacted again.
According to them, the branch messed it up again! There is no driver today!!! So I have to wait until tomorrow.
Well....somebody has to be at home because they require to sign the delivery.
Looks like people at this branch like to play with other's time! They don't think I have a job too! Sitting at home like an idiot, getting unpaid days will not pay my bills!
Avoid this company! They are not capable of doing their job properly!
