I recently ordered the large Nova bag from Wool & Oak and I could not be happier with my purchase. I used it to travel to NYC and had to walk around up and down the city with it and it was easy and convenient to carry around. The quality build is top notch. Only complaint l had was that it would not fit in the carry on compartment in the plane and I had to check in the bag.

This is by far one of the absolute best and highest quality wheeled duffles available. The quality is totally unmatched.

There are cheaper alternatives available but after putting in a vast amount of research, I found this bag exceeds my requirements and expectations.

Also, per many of the negative reviews, there seems to be some major past supply chain / customer support issues especially outside of the states. I can attest that my experience (US) has been the complete opposite.
For example, I did not like the color of my original order and contacted customer support for an exchange. Once approved and they had the initial bag in hand, I had my replacement (chocolate) within 5 working days. I was kept abreast of the return/exchange status via email and txt message thus I was kept abreast of the status at all times.

The only issue I noted is that the website pictures of the Chocolate Nova Large has brown wheels (which I do not care for); the current version has black wheels, thus the newer version is a total win for me.

As for travel experience, I've yet to take a trip but will do so soon. As of date, I have completed several preliminary packings and can easily pack 5-7 days worth of clothing without a hitch.

I really wish the bag came with a few packing cubes to assist in organizing. Also including a small lock would be a nice touch.
W&O use to make a leather knapsack, I wish they would bring it back into production as it would compliment this bag exceptionally well.

I feel this is a very solid investment and I believe it will last a lifetime. Trust me, once you get your hands on one, you will not let go!

After dragging a duffle through the airport on our last trip I scoured the internet for the best “wheeled” duffle. And the Wool and Oak Nova did not disappoint. Quality leather, convertible to lay flat, easy to pack with multiple pockets! Highly recommend it! OMG Just flew with this. Waiting in line to board flight, no less than 6 people including flight attendant wanted to know all about it! Actually several went on line immediately to check it out!

Just want to preface this review with it being 1000% a real review, no bs games gimmicks what so ever… transparency is key

I was so hesitant on buying this bag due to reviews of people not getting their bags for months, I decided to email them since the chocolate large bag was in stock it said… I got a reply email back promptly and they said it was indeed ready to be shipped in early December !

I ordered and it was a 6 day ordeal which turned into 4 days, 2 days processing then I got my email that it shipped, 4 day window of shipping which wound up delivering early in just two days!

On to the bag… the zippers were a bit rough however did break in. I did have one little issue with zipper and the communication was unreal between Their customer service/April I believe her name was which led into Jonathan Weber CEO emailing me and making things right, expeditiously

I write all of this as a business owner to say, for me, the customer service was amazing and I’d really give them an opportunity! Not to mention, the bag has been amazing for me and the cubes

The Large Nova I was able to pack out with 3xxl hoodie/jackets in the garment section, pair of size 12 loafer, toiletry bag then a ton of clothes in the cubes… it’s unreal what you can fit in this bag, yes the zippers are a little rough but get better with time and use. Just as a tip if you have a 16” MacBook Pro put it in the front pocket prior to loading it up

I’ve retired my Gucci/LV duffles because of the utility of this bag (and it’s also beautiful in the leather)… now no more pinched nerves with 20-30-40 lb bags around my neck carrying it on trips, the wheeling aspect is a game changer for me
The packing cubes are amazing, first time ever using them and it’s unreal how much you can fit in them

Do yourself a favor and get the bag and put some trust in them. I really hope they can fulfill it as fast and flawless as I’ve had with them and all of you can get to enjoy such an amazing product

I ordered the Nova Large duffle on 11/30/24. At the time I ordered the website said “in stock and ready to ship.” I got a confirmation email and then another email “thank you” email that mentioned if my order included a nova bag it was a pre-order item. I did see one of the bag colors was pre-order but not mine so I thought maybe it was a mistake. But when I hadn’t gotten any more emails by 12/16 I emailed to clarify. I got a response back the same day saying it was pre-order and hadn’t reflected in the system yet and they couldn’t give an estimated shipping date. I was a little irritated. On the website the other color had said it would ship by 1/15 so I was hoping it wouldn’t be any later than that. But on 12/18 I got an email saying it had shipped. I don’t know if that’s suspicious or if I got lucky but the bag was delivered on 12/27. The box was damaged the bag was perfectly intact.
I saw other negative reviews saying that pre-order items weren’t eligible for return and if I had ordered a pre-order item without knowing it and that had been the case I would be upset. But I checked their website and I don’t see anything about that under their return information. Hopefully the policy has changed.

I ordered this for my husband for Christmas because he frequently has weekend conferences for work and hates traveling with a suit bag. He’s already taken it on a trip and it worked out well. I love that it can roll so it’s easier to tote around the airport than a regular duffle. Some similar bags from different brands didn’t have that function it really makes a difference in my opinion. The size is good, it easily held clothes for four days plus two jackets and two button-down shirts, and fit nicely in the overhead bin. The compressible cubes also came in handy making it easier to access the suit compartment without messing up the rest of the packed items. The jackets and shirts he packed definitely weren’t wrinkle-free after traveling but he would rather do a little steaming/ironing in his hotel than carrying around a suit bag.
The leather and the lining are nice and appear to be high quality. The zipper can be tricky since it comes all the off so the bag can unfold but it’s not too bad. The price is a little steep but I hope that means the quality is as good as it looks and this bag will hold up for years to come. Overall I am satisfied and my husband loves it.

I ordered a bag cyber Monday for my fiancé for Christmas. The item didn’t arrive until Dec 27th. When I emailed asking about a shipping update I was informed I “pre-ordered” which I hadn’t. I expected the bag to come before Christmas knowing there maybe a small delay with shipping. The bag magically shipped before the email response. When it arrived he was so excited. Had no idea I had ordered it. The zippers are a bit stiff but some usage or even wax may help.

Shipping was delayed by 1 day but I blame FedEx. Bag is awesome - looks and construction. Can’t wait to go in a trip and try it out.

Terrible shipping and follow ups on where bag is after ordering!!!

Buyer beware--

I ordered 2 bags. First one was ordered through Kickstarter and took quite a long time to get delivered. But I eventually got it. Excellent quality and really practical. Only small issue is the zips. They need to be used many time before being able to be easily handled. I use this bag as a frequent traveller since a few months and very pleased with it.
Based on this first experience, I ordered a second (the small) bag directly from their site. Got a quick delivery of the inside bags but had to wait quite a long time to get the delivery of the bag itself. Contacted the CS several times, and eventually I received my bag just before Xmas (more than one month after ordering it). Same quality (and issue) as its larger brother: So pleased with the products but long wait time (European customer).

Complete scam. Truly wish I had seen this page before I ordered. The company is stealing, and you won’t get your product. It will be endless customer “support” emails with excuses. They sent me bogus tracking info saying it arrived Christmas Eve when it didn’t, and I have the ring cam footage to prove it was never delivered at the time they said it was. DO NOT order anything with this company

So many complements, so little space to review :)

1. Shipping. I had a trip planned for Dec.6 2024 and ordered this item on November 29th. It actually arrived via FedEx International December 5th! Exceeded my expectations.

2. Quality. Exemplary quality, first rate leather, fittings, zipper, closures, lining, wheels and handles. Definitely worth the price and you will be impressed. For me, it’s, “quality or nothing” and I am so pleased with this purchase.

3. Experience. I used a set of packing cubes and it was a true delight to pack, unpack and repack. Storage was super easy as it folds flat, just like the ad illustrates.

Conclusion: this is a terrific purchase and I anticipate this item passing the 30-year test. Used it on a 3-day trip to Toronto and will use it on my 7-night trip to Cabo later this week.

I am super pleased and ordered a second one for our son…well done, Wool and Oak, well done. AHC

Really great people to deal with. Obviously there can be problems shipping from USA to UK but not with Wool & Oak.
Great communication at all times, personal and a great product arrived in tip top shape.

I had a complex situation with my Nova bag order through Wool & Oak, but their customer service team, particularly Jay, went above and beyond to resolve everything smoothly. I ordered a $500 bag for my husbands birthday and the zippers would not work. I’ve emailed them 6 times with no response and they have no phone number. We are taking legal progressions to get our refund due to this horrible customer care. Buyer beware.

I’ve supported their kickstarter. It was a long journey with some difficulties. But eventually my bag arrived. With extra import fees, but it is what it is.
I expected higher and better quality. Especially for their asking price. It’s not ‘premium’. The inseams is crooked the inside zippers are crooked. The “gold” zippers outside is crackled - their alloy finish is imperfect. I’ve got waaay cheaper bags with a better finish.
I’ve tried contacting them through their support but they haven’t responded yet here several months after.

Cannot recommend.

Buyers from the UK beware!
The bag although expensive, arrived on time and is exactly what I was expecting. I would give the product 4-5 stars out of 5 so far. What I wasn't expecting, was £150 import duty bill on top of the already pricey outlay. If I'd have known this before, then I would not have purchased.

I wish I had seen this site before ordering. I have not received my bag (ordered over 1 month ago) and sadly, that seems like a shorter wait time than most. Many on this site have not received their bag in almost a year...and yes, I pre-ordered and therefore cannot get a refund or exchange. SOMEONE from this company needs to contact me and give an honest update on the status of my order. This is clearly a pattern as evidenced by several other similar complaints.
