Went to wren and ordered kitchen with my father.
Delay after delay eventually fitted this week.
What worries me is the ‘extras’ have become almost a thousand pounds (£1000!!) on top of the already expensive kitchen (for what it is) - we’re talking a couple of plugs, some pipe and fitting some small extras.
My dad’s 80 and just recovered from heart ❤️ failure and he’s also given them some cash in the home - isn’t there a law against this?
I’ve contacted wren direct and they will not discuss it with me without his authority- I don’t want to stress him - it just feels as though he’s been taken advantage of - in his own home.
Wren also said the fitters were nothing to do with them - they were paid for as time of purchase 🤷♂️ they also said this should have come up on the pre installation survey - which it obviously didn’t.
I’d heard some horror stories about wren before he purchased a kitchen - I tried to put him off but here we are.
Dissatisfied, disappointing and poor communication especially with elderly.

Nightmare from start to finish. Fitter left my 87 year old Nan without electric or heating for almost 48 hours to go and finish a private job he had. The kitchen isn’t fitted properly. It’s not level, the self closing doors do not close, there are screws drilled through the panels which are sharp and dangerous, the cupboard doors aren’t level and look awful, stripping was left off, one of the cupboards had no bottom to it so couldn’t be used. Contacted Wren and someone came out to look at it & he was appalled. Was told it would be taken to management but never heard anything back. Been messaging for over a year now and NOTHING!!! Please do not go to Wren - look elsewhere!!!!!

I bought a Wren kitchen 6 years ago and spent over £10,000. It has some bits on the oven housing and freezer door that haven’t faired very well and the laminate has warped but generally alright.
I recently had a botched operation, in hospital and now need to have my leg amputated. So I can get access to my downstairs loo in a wheelchair I need to remodel just a corner of my kitchen by moving my dryer to stack on top of my washer, to do this I need a tall end panel and a bridging unit. Wren still sell my kitchen, so I went into the showroom to purchase said items. The long and short of it is that if your kitchen is more than 5 years old Wren will not sell you kitchen cupboards without dramatically inflating the price. An item that would have cost around £80 and £90 respectfully would have cost more than £450 (“unless you find someone who is having a kitchen from Wren and ask them to add it to their order.”)
This is obviously a tactic to pressure you into buying a new kitchen with them rather than repair or remodel the one you’ve already got!
Be aware!
Later we found an exact match for pebble grey at IKEA £200 for the lot including fixings, no worries Wren, IKEA didn’t have a problem selling it to us.

Made an appointment to designs new kitchen went through all of this was happy with the design and price then they took my 10% deposit then proceeded to tell me “Oh by the way” when the fitter comes out there may be an additional £2000 that you have to pay I would have expected to be told this before I had paid my deposit.
I explained that I was not happy and the sales manager told me that I could cancel and get my money back. The fitter came out and surprise surprise the extras came to £2000 so I rang the showroom and cancelled I asked for confirmation was told I would receive an email.
The next day still no email so I called back and the got an email from assistant manager who stated kitchen was cancelled refund would be processed in the next 14 days. Ten days later I contact Wren customer services they don’t have a customer services phone number !!!! I then receive an email telling me that my kitchen was being cancelled that afternoon and I will recieve my refund within the next 8 days. Basically the Manager lied to me and clearly despite an email had not cancelled my order I am now going to contact the Ombudsman to discuss this with them further.

Lots of communication and reminders and above all everyone has been uber friendly and professional. Can’t wait to see the finished kitchen it’s looking good!

Both gentlemen were professional yet friendly, making sure that there was the least disruption as possible, taking into considerations the best place to store boxed up kitchen whilst still being able to use the space I had available.

When we placed our order, we made it very clear to the salesperson that we would be away for three weeks and needed the kitchen delivery and installation planned around our trip. He assured us this could be arranged and at no point did he mention that there might be a charge for scheduling a specific delivery date.
A couple of weeks later, when I called to make a small change to our order and asked about the delivery date, another salesperson mentioned there would be a £50 fee for a specific delivery. I assumed this would be waived given the original salesperson’s assurance, but the showroom manager, Kirsty North, refused to do so. Her tone over the phone was dismissive and unprofessional, implying that we were trying to avoid paying for a “requested” date, which was never the case.
We ended up cancelling our order entirely. If this is how customers are treated before a kitchen is even delivered, I can only imagine the difficulties that might arise if there were any problems later on.
Overall, a very poor customer experience that has left us extremely disappointed.

Absolutely over the moon with my kitchen. Sarah the designer in the Nottingham branch was fantastic, she was that good I ordered a kitchen, utility room, office, pantry and bar. Would highly recommend Wren. The fitters were great Gary and his team became part of the family. Thank you to you all. ❤️❤️

My review 3rd July 2025 of the choices, design and order was 5 star. Delivery and installation did not quite match up to the excellent service from the showroom.
Delivery support: well-intentioned but disappointing.
Delivery: efficient but delivery receipt questionable.
Installation support: well-intentioned but ineffective.
Installation: tactfully speaking it was a very trying experience. Appears impressive – time will confirm quality.
Overall: choices, design and order were exceptional. Given the excellent value for money it would be mean of me not to give an overall 5 star rating. I would welcome a one to one discussion with Wren’s head of customer service.

My score reflects the consistently poor handling of my case from start to finish. Despite clear evidence and repeated correspondence, Wren Kitchens failed to manage the process professionally, causing months of unnecessary delay, confusion, and stress.
I had to chase basic updates repeatedly, correct administrative errors, and even liaise directly with the fitter myself because Wren failed to update my contact details. Communication between departments was chaotic, and responses often ignored key points I had raised.
While the installer himself was professional, Wren’s customer service and case management fell far below an acceptable standard. The experience has been unnecessarily time-consuming and frustrating, and I would not recommend Wren Kitchens based on this interaction.

Awful after care, do not use if you want any issues resolving after you have paid for your kitchen. All Wren want is your money and then do not care about any issues that you have. They mislead about appliances and give assurances that they will deal with any problems or issues that they have but once they have your money they do not care. Avoid buying a kitchen with Wren unless you are prepared to take the hit on any issues, broken items etc. All they care about is your payment. The showrooms do not help at all and just pass you onto customer services and customer services are far from helpful. The whole experience with Wren has been ruined. When you are purchasing something as important and expensive as a kitchen you expect a better level of customer service. Wren you need to sort this out.
You reply and ask for an order number to look into the matter but provide no way of contacting you to provide this, brilliant! So really you portray that you want to help on a public platform but you don't really want to help at all!!

Do not recommend!!
After purchasing a kitchen with wren, we were told we would be able to move the delivery date before purchasing, as I am doing a full renovation on my property.
I wasn’t ready for my kitchen so I asked to move the delivery date, I was then told I wasn’t able to move the date unless I pay £150 to move the delivery date.
After phones calls with wren trying to move the date we was only told “well you’ve signed a contract now” so we’re unable to do anything.
The store then said it’s nothing to do with us now it’s the delivery team I will need to contact… after hours trying to get through the delivery team they were useless.
In the end I ended up paying £150 to move my delivery date as it was too much stress and confirmed a new date for my kitchen to be delivered. Which I still haven’t received a email to confirm my delivery. I have called 4 times to ask for an email confirmation for my delivery and all the team keep saying is “we will call you back” (still not confirming the new date that I’ve paid £150 for) I have just tried to call again for confirmation and they ended the phone call and didn’t bother to call back.
This whole process has been stressful and they’re happy taking more money from you but not actioning anything!
I will not be buying a kitchen from wren again.

As I'm in sales, I was very impressed by their set up. Nice showrooms, good range and choice, plus the sales rep was good. Problems happened once the delivery occurred. One cabinet was damaged but as it was at the base, my fitter recommendation that we carry on, as installation would be delayed. Noticed a few scuffs and marks. They did change some but makes me think what quality control was doing??? After we had sorted out the plumbing for the fridge, realised thay had sent the wrong one. When we chased it up, the sales rep we dealt with denied we mentioned it. We mentioned it every time we went there. Then a very rude woman rang from customer services, to tell us it was our fault for not checking the plans. Then we noticed scratches in the oven. We rang Neff, who's engineer told us it was damaged, so go back to Wren. Again, they washed their hands of it as it was pass the 28 days. However, if something is damaged, then they should change it, regardless. Or at least get Neff to check it out. Overall did not enjoy my experience. Just like any one off sale, once thay have your money, they don't care. Slightly better than a double glazing company.

I recently wrote a review about my experience with Wren Kitchens, it was a good solid review
But I have an update!
Aftercare is not so good, one of my kitchen doors became loose so I took it down, I contacted Wren only to be told it wasn’t in warranty (April 2025 installation) for that and as a gesture of good will they would send a new carcass (it houses my microwave & oven so a large carcass for one top door!) or I could purchase a screw plate and repair myself!
I live alone and I’ve just spent 12 grand on a kitchen…come on guys!
I agreed to the carcass but told the installer ‘bring some longer screws that’s all it needs!’
Also I was promised a £200 recommendation fee for myself and my daughter(she recommended them as she had purchased a kitchen from them) nobody at the shop has replied to my enquiries
So take from this what you can, loved the kitchen but feel really let down in aftercare
Update
Again aftercare isn’t up to standard, have had a case worker on the case
No recommendation fee as promised!
The case worker said it’s a shop based incentive but it’s yet to materialise!
Come on wren!
Eventually all was sorted, thanks wren but shouldn’t have took so long
I would still recommend wren but get everything in writing

the sales team will claim to you in the show room that work such as feature walls and appliances are fitted and are included in the price read the contract carefully before you sign, what they actually do is any electrical items they slide them in the hole but dont connect them? my wife and I have just found out that the feature wall we paid for is just a box of bricks not fitted we both asked about this and was told that the fitting was all in they are little more than con men everything you need apart from the dry fit of the kitchen is extra they are a bunch of liars absolute con from start to finish 3 weeks now behind the first fitter left to get materials and didn't come back, the installation team are useless and are the actual customer services team as well? my advise is sit down ask the questions what's included what's not, go home and check the contract then you will find out for your self, I'm taking the time to find any forum to leave comments on WREN
