For ORLA, i kept to my word! Customer service in Ireland is IMPECABLE!
I've read what others have written & i dont believe them! Because we've had a door runner break on our Emerald deluxe after over 25yrs, now thats a boast for yardmasters ;-)
Orla replied the next day cos i emailed @ night. I replied & within a cpl of hrs she'd stopped drinking her Guinness, taken her feet off the desk & replied back again, & thats in-between answering all the other calls she's getting.
We always remember we're not the only ones in the world with questions! (& keeping the mgr fed with his tea & biccys lol, hope her mgr likes that?)

Well! The runner that we've got they cant supply but she told me where to go (theres a joke there lol) to get what we needed at a very reasonable price, £5.89. with new nuts, bolts & washers inc.
Now hows that for customer service? We can only say FIRST CLASS! As the saying goes, She went Above & beyond, you dont get any better than that!

Hmm? Well you do, you get Orla, she's got a sense of humour whilst still being very professional!

P.S. We bought a pent 8x4 a little while back to hse our hens feed & it went together a dream & its waterproof so dont be put off by these so called engineers who cant put a Yardmaster up properly lol!

Poor quality . Not fit for purpose . Customer services unhelpful and rude . Same as Argos . Do not buy one of these sheds as your be wasting your money .

Just finished building a shed bought from Bricomarche in Normandy. Process was complicated by mismatching boxes of parts being supplied. Eventually sorted with the help of Bricomarche and Yardmaster customer service when we eventually got through.
The initial instructions/schematics were OK, but soon diverged from reality on the ground. It's a budget priced oeoduct but missing part numbers, incorrect processes etc should not be ignored. However as soon as we ignored the manual, apart from basic identification, assembly proceeded reasonably well. Only one area required a few new holes to be drilled and this could be down to tolerance build up. Not sure I'd use them again, unless there was a significant improvement in instructions/schematics

I would not buy from these people, directly or indirectly through a 3rd party like Argos. The product is faulty and is of low quality, including miss leading measurements and poor construction parts. Contacted the company directly to correct the problems and all we got was as rude, arrogant and patronising answers. Avoid, avoid, avoid!!

I have to say that this experience in DIY was the worst in my life, and I regard myself as a competent person with an Engineering background in the military aerospace industry, imagine my response when I saw the pile of scrap metal in the 3 boxes, which one reviewer said was stronger than the shed.

We wasted our money a the top of the line (hah) 10ftx 17ft.
Parts missing, parts mis-labelled, holes in parts misaligned or non existent.
We had to drill holes in a whole part that did not have any at all, so transferring the measurements from another part took time and was really frustrating, and very annoying.
Most of the construction was using tiny self tapping screws, most should have been at least the next size up in length and width, even that is borderline.

We have found that there where some parts missing, and some part's incorrectly labelled which caused a lot of confusion, however, after contacting them. they sent a replacement, if we had done this now, most of the garage would have had to be replaced due to poor workmanship or machine tooling.

The manual does not help, using less than useful text, just crappy drawing's that are not accurate.

This was the start of a nightmare:-

The whole front and rear roof apex triangular panels X 3 did not align and when offered to the equally appalling front door frame and rear panel!! The doors do not fit the aperture, the rear did not fit with the side panels.
The doors are so bad that they are a security risk, how the hell am I supposed to close one door using 2 internal flimsy drop bolts, THEN, close/open the other one, with one on the inside? not 2 latches, non on the outside, it is physically impossible?

The panel gaps are atrocious, nothing align's, on the roof, the side panel's or, anywhere,it is just shocking.

Why only 13 fixing bolts and washers when there are actually 17 holes in the base frame, I bought 4 more bolts and washers and used the holes already there.

The translucent panels in the roof did not have ANY holes or method of fixing, according to the manual only one side of the roof is shown, the other side is totally the opposite.
Today 23/10/25, we have 50 mph winds and heavy rain, when i went into the structure, I cannot call it a garage anymore, there was water everywhere, dripping down ALL the panels on the sides AND the roof.
I cannot even think of putting my prized car into this structure that I cannot even get into, refer to above.
The structure leaks like a sieve, it is wet, draughty and a liability.

It is NOT fit for purpose in any way shape or form.
I want answer's as to why this batch went so wrong, a Friday job maybe?

This structure took over a week, not the 8 hours to put together.

I AM NOT HAPPY.

I can understand the criticism of these sheds, as they
do have challenges in construction but this has to be balanced against the price and finished product. The instructions are useless and I would suggest they invest in redoing. Watching the YouTube video certainly helps. There are a lot of screws and great care is needed when screwing together as the metal is thin. It took 2 days for 2 experienced DIYer's to construct. Everything appears flimsy until completed when rigidity is perfectly acceptable and does look good. We had a downpour just after construction and no leaks.

I bought this on eBay from yardmaster product returns at £249 for a 9' x 7'. In comparison, last year for a similar amount I bought an overlap log store which I had to add so much interior bracing and lining to I might as well have built from scratch.

Ultimately, these sheds are very much made to a budget but for the sake of some effort we have a watertight and perfectly good looking shed at a reasonable price.

Whilst the customer service was actually very good (thanks Pauline), the actual products are dreadful. Avoid at all costs. You WILL be sorry if you buy one of these. There isn't a single component that can be described as quality, the screws supplied wouldn't hold a wendy house together you WILL need to buy proper ones (Tech Screws for the roof for sure). The instructions MIGHT be ok to light a fire with but will be of no use at all to build this monstrosity. I know it is cheap, but it is still a waste of money. Holes are miss drilled or missing, panels don't fit, have holes where they shouldn't, the doors are a jokes, and so it goes on. Awful

I purchased the Yardmaster 10x6 metal shed for my elderly parents, I just wish I had read the reviews beforehand. Disappointed is an understatment. No reflection on Shedstore but this product can only be described as shockling rubbish. Never in my life have I seen so many pieces to put together, materials were cheap and flimsy, with dangerously sharp edges. I wouldn't even bother with the instructions included, whoever put them together should be shot. Found the YouTube video more understandable. After 3days of watching, pausing and rewinding mixed with tested patience. We opted for a metal shed, purely with the view of being low maintenance, but I honestly think we should have just stuck with what we know. I will never go for a Yardmaster shed again and will definitely do my homework next time. A total waste of money.

Bought a 10ftx8ft Yardmaster shed from Argos at cost of £575! only to find when its put together that its 9ft x 7ft! FALSE ADVERTISING!

Now that is just for starters! it took 3 grown men literally a day and a half to put it together! it states 4-6hrs for 2 men! NEVER in a million years!

Nothing lined up! different screws had to be used and drilled in holes leaving the pre drilled holes redundant!

Have a feeling at the first sign of Rain its going to be like an overhead showerhead!

Absolute pile of poor quality twisted metal!

PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE IF YOU ARE SPENDING THIS KIND OF MONEY - RIP OFF doesn't even come close and Trading Standards should look in to them for FALSE advertisement and Misrepresentation!

ARGOS should even cut their ties with them!

The weather has turned and we have had some heavy rainfall over the past two weeks, and guess what! half the shed is WET inside! absolute worthless £575 pile of Cr*p! am now going to have to reconsider making it waterproof somehow! URGH! PLEASE NEVER EVER BUY A METAL SHED FROM YARDMASTER!!!!!

Purchased this last year. Time to put it up overall does the job but for the price would rather spend the extra. Loads of separate components and covered in self tapping screws. Instructions are pop and most things don’t line up. Got it up not sure if it will leak. Took over 10 hours very time consuming. Worst design ever

Very flimsy. Poor fit of components. Bolts not lining up properly.
I suspect it will leak.
Sharp edges internally so a hazard which I need to address.
Cost more to erect than to buy.
Should have done more research

After they organised a collection that I came home early for especially, where the driver came apparently to the front door but didn’t even ring our bell.

Very disappointing that when I explained this to Yardmaster that there was no apology or kindness for what their contractor courier failed to do, which should be a core part of the service - ringing the bell to see that we are in and collect the item. We just got rudeness and confrontation and then were hung up upon.

Awful service, the last time I came across tin that thick it was covering my KitKat. Took on some extras which I don’t need and they won’t respond to the third party provider

This is my second shed from Yardmaster the first one is still good at over
20 years of use and I cannot understand why there are so many unfair reviews online.

On unpacking the latest shed I discovered a piece missing. Yardmaster NI were great and promptly expressed delivery of missing part. Before assembly I read the manual twice also
Do not try to rush the assembly I am 75 years old so I did a couple hours a day over a five day period. The finished result looks outstanding in my garden. I did not have to drill any extra holes and it feel very sturdy bolted down to 50mm thick paving slabs and keeping the slab outer edge's flush with the metal base frame outer edge helps stop rain getting in through the base. Many Thanks Yardmaster another fine 5star product a bargain at only £220. Mike

Instructions that's a joke rough diagram I had to use you tube videos, screw holes don't line up so I had to drill new holes, so bang goes the warrenty, a lot of screw holes where too big so I had to buy slighty bigger self tap screws, the measurement given for the frame was wrong, so when I put on the pannels it didn't match, so alter it, now it's up the door is short so I banging me head going in & out, I end up with a bleed on my brain.
Now it's up it seems strong & solid, & no renewing roof felt or painting it

Missing screws, missing panels. Sliding doors will not last long. Now I know why I ve seen many metal sheds missing doors. Before even considering installing it get some self tapping screws with washers and CT1. Installation would be a breeze if everything was in the box. I am going to return it since I don't need a shed without the wall panels. Few hours lost installing it.

From ordering to receiving my goods I must convey my thanks to the team,the goods are good quality and very easy assembled.
Built in under five hours following easy followed instructions.
Thanks also to the delivery driver.

Further to my previous review of the 10x4 Hercules I purchased it's smaller 6x4 sister to stand alongside it on a pre-prepared patio slab base.

Absolutely no problems with construction, while not absolutely clear the instructions can be followed with a little logic. It's a big meccano set, nothing more. There is also a video on YouTube, watch the video. Monkey see, monkey do.

All the parts were included with plenty of screws, fasteners etc. It took two people roughly 3 man hours to assemble with a power screwdriver. The construction slightly differs to the 10x4 but that is due to the smaller size rather than overall design and it's appearance cosmetically is identical to the 10x4 albeit smaller

Top tip. Seal the bottom with clear outdoor mastic and also any internal seams. It won't take you long and mastic is about £3 a tube from a discount store.

It is what it is, it's a metal box to keep your stuff in.

Would I buy another if required. Yes, probably.

Only gave them 1 star as you can't give them no stars. Do not buy. Absolutely rubbish. Holes not stamped properly, loads of pull back, holes don't line up, fasteners extremely cheap. Instructions from hell. A nightmare

Bought a Yardmaster shed 2 months ago. Despite many negative reviews I found the instructions to be very comprehensive and relatively easy to follow. Took nearly 2 days to build and I built the roof by myself which took about 5 hours. I needed help to construct the sides and put the roof on, which fitted first time as I'd taken extra time to get the base structure perfectly square, which clearly some negative reviewers failed to do, and that took another 4 hours the next day. The process was pretty straight forward IF YOU FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS PROPERLY!! Very happy with the build and construction......yes it is a little flimsy but is excellent value and very well designed.
