I found a visit to their showroom very strange and a total waste of time.
After ordering six samples we had a follow up call and were told the sample we liked was available to view at their west Drayton site. We were also told that other larger samples were available to view. We turned up to their offices with two other couples. Those couples were let into their offices. We on the other hand were left outside with one of their staff with just 12 samples and a computer to look through. I kept asking to view larger samples, we had even taken our kitchen doors and floor samples with us. She kept saying yes we can see and then not taking us inside. Then she said to choose our worktop we had to go to Reading and that people choose a worktop just from the sample and computer. I could have done this from home. Then she said we could see other customers worktops at their old place 5 minute drive away where they had a fire. So off we went following another member of staff. When we got there all the customers worktops were uncovered and the man didn’t know what each worktop was. Bits of broken quartz everywhere. Total waste of time and if they treat customers worktop like this there is no way we will give them over 4K for our worktop. Everyone seemed really rude and unhelpful. Who know why other people went into the office and why we weren’t. Very bad.

We took our floor tiles and a piece of our units to colour match. Abi in the office took one look and said you need this worktop. She showed us loads of samples, but said we would end up picking this one. She was right, spot on, she knows her stuff. We booked a time to get the kitchen survey, easy. Every time we called someone answered the phone. Amit Suri met with our builder and they discussed what we had asked for. My builder explained we need it quickly for him to continue and Amit was straight on and got us booked in within 3 days. The end product is awesome, would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

The problem started from seller... that guy promised that they will do the plumbing also and to remove the old worktop/sink/tap and to scrap them for me and he charge me for this. The installation team didn't knew anything about this plus that they arrived without tap and on the next day they delivered the wrong tap (which I didn't accepted) and I didn't had water for 5 days because of this. Even if they charged for plumbing at the end of the day I've been forced to call a plumber to fit the hob on. The initial payment was £1340(for quartz worktop) and for sink and tap it was approximately £500 plus £440 vat ... and they charged another £360 for plumbing and to remove the old worktop which they haven't done and I also didn't got any refund for them plus that I paid another £140 for plumber to connect the gas in the same day ... waisting time and money... 3h job took them 5 days to finished

Both Abi and Amit have been incredibly patient and helpful. I will definitely be using Y & S Marble again for future projects

Arrangements for template were super quick very professional price given later that day was more than a match for other companies.
Guys came with in the week they were outstanding and did a fantastic job will be recommending y s to anyone needing quartz or granite so pleases thank you

The reason I rated them 4* is due to their lateness on the day as I had to call their offices only to be advised that the men were running late. They were quite keen to finish and leave to go to another job. The guys did a very good job and I’m pleased. The two staff members of this company made it possible for me to purchase my quartz worktop from them. I felt valued as a customer

The customer service from this Company was initially excellent. I got really good advice on which worktop to order and the team were always responsive to answer my questions. However, although the worktop fitted looks generally very good, I have since found problems with the installation. The sink was not sealed properly resulting in it leaking. Moreover, the splashback behind the hob has been fitted in such a way that The built in extractor fan will not be able to be removed without destroying the cupboard it is in. The company were prompt in sending someone out to re-seal the sink but they did not have time to address the problem with the Splashback being fitted around the extractor fan even though they confirmed it had been done incorrectly. I am in contact with the company to get this resolved and I’m hoping for a positive resolution after which I will update this review.

Y & S were recommended to us by my son's father in law, and from beginning to end they were very professional. From contacting them to installation only took two weeks. We are very happy with the work they have done and the cost was very reasonable. Paul Rylatt. 30th January 2021
