Great camera work; wonderful to see all the steps in their meal preparation and great to have the recipes for each of the dishes. Something you can look at time and again to pick up more understanding of what they prepare. Just a fabulous resource!

I love YesChef! The videos are great. I initially had trouble logging in, but the company fixed it for me, and now I am enjoying the videos. The site has recipes, and you get to learn from top-shelf chefs. Highly recommended.

I was renewed with no warning and according to the site there is no refund possible for renewals. Honestly, other than a few good episodes the content was pretty thin, so I stopped watching. And then to top it off no warning that there was a $240 annual renewal, which is both sneaky and IMO very overpriced.
Update: after contacting YesChef my renewal was refunded. I would encourage them to make a renewal notification email or message a part of their regular business practice to avoid unhappy customers. (My experience is not unique)

I had a question about my changing my subscription to a lifetime membership because I love the lessons and I was surprised by how quickly I received a response. Also, Kevin was extremely polite and helpful. I followed up with another question and he responded immediately again.

I had an issue with the renewal and the fee. I was upset so I reached out to customer service about my concerns. Kevin and Gloria, They were amazing. Not only did they address my concerns they upgraded my experience which I thought went above and beyond. I am thrilled. I have not received such outstanding service like this in a very very long time. I am excited to start cooking again. Thank you so very much.

I did not agree to update my membership to your service and demand immediate return of my funds. I subscribed to this a year ago, found it vacuous, and would by no means recommend it to others, let alone renew.
Aesthetically beautiful it offers no meaningful insight to culinary techniques.

SCAM! Like many of the reviews here, I am being automatically renewed for double the amount I originally paid 230 USD and differently from the first purchase they have no refund policy for that! No respect for the consumers!!!!
Update: they answered very quickly and said my refund would be made.

Love YesChef! I’ve been a member for a couple of years, and I recently upgraded to their lifetime membership, which was incredibly fair. They calculated my upgrade offer based on what I’d already paid, which speaks volumes about their integrity and customer care. Highly recommend — especially for budding chefs who want to level up their cooking skills while travelling the world virtually through inspiring lessons and stories.

This is less than 1 star. Yeschef is a scam. I got the service on 24 Nov, watched a bit of Asma Khan (she does not make her own paneer and uses store bought, which goes against what is advertised) decided the product wasn't for me. Asked for a refund. Gloria tried to talk me into keeping it because allegedly the Jamie Oliver class is epic. The class of a guy who on YouTube frequently butchers recipes like putting mango chutney, and cashew butter in his butter chicken. And when I said it wasn't for me she ghosted me. Also the help section is difficult to navigate. They rely on this to keep you frustrated so you don't get a refund.

There are hours of private lessons from the best chefs in the world. They have stories, share their lives with you and teach you. I absolutely love Yes Chef. You can watch at your leisure over and over and follow along and make delicious food!!!

My stepson gifted me with a lifetime subscription to this website last Christmas, which was so generous, and I absolutely love it. I’m a fairly experienced home cook and the videos have taken my skills to a whole new level. And the photography/videos are set in beautiful locations and are of cinematic quality. I highly recommend!!!

Everything turns out like it should, its amazing. The stuff I don't do well is on me but if you follow the directions and take your time its super fun. They have a lot of recipes however when we work through our favorites, which will take a long time, we are hoping new recipes are added! Well worth the hundred bucks a year!

I had given up on YesChef, but I read some of the reviews and noticed we are not in a unique situation, and people need to understand what might occur if they sign up for a membership. The following is our experience dealing with YesChef. I gave my wife a gift card for a membership to YesChef on December 24, 2023. She enjoyed the membership throughout 2024. On December 23, 2024 we received an email offering 75% off the standard membership price for another year. We did not respond to the offer. My wife's membership was automatically renewed on December 24, 2024 at the full price. I was not aware of this automatic renewal aspect to the membership. On January 3, 2025 we asked to cancel our membership. On January 4, 2025 Kevin responded in a very timely manner and informed us that the membership auto renews unless we turn off that feature on our profile page. Who knew? However, he gave us 2 options; firstly to take a lifetime membership for the subscription cost that we had just paid, or secondly, get 50% of the renewal fee refunded and have access to YesChef for the balance of 2025. On January 11, 2025 I responded stating that we would take the latter option and receive the 50% refund. On January 13, 2025 Kevin responded and stated we would receive the 50% refund on our credit within 5-10 business. We received the refund on January 14th . Our credit card was charged again for the full subscription fee of $USD 300/$CAD 436.49 on February 16, 2025. We drew this unauthorized payment to Kevin's attention on March 9, 2025 and provided a summary of the transactions. However, since then we have been ghosted by YesChef and we feel that we have been scammed. I will ensure that our auto renew feature is disabled and we certainly will not recommend YesChef to anyone. We feel YesChef is doing their chefs a disservice by engaging in these poor business practices.

Within 12 hours of writing this review we received the $USD 300 refund and an explanation and apology from YesChef... thanks very much Kevin. Although we have had a disappointing experience with YesChef the chefs' classes were very good.

I’ve purchased the lifetime access to YesChef and overall, I’m really happy with it. The content is top-notch — the videos are clear, easy to follow, and the chefs are incredible. I’ve already tried making some of the dishes and they turned out amazing.
That said, there’s room for improvement. If I had purchased the one-year plan instead of lifetime, I’m not sure I’d renew, simply because I feel I could watch everything in about six months and still have time to spare. To keep people engaged longer, I think it would be great if YesChef released new content on a set schedule. Bringing in more bread and pastry chefs, for example, could make a big difference and keep the platform fresh and exciting.
Overall, I’m happy with my purchase and the value it offers right now — but I’d love to see it grow with regular, scheduled updates to keep learners coming back for more.

Last December, YesChef charged my credit card $300 without any prior notice. I want to emphasize that I did not authorize this charge. I contacted them immediately by email to request a refund and cancellation of the account, and they responded "that due to the holiday season, they were experiencing a significant increase in inquiries and would get back to me." However, they never followed up.
Since they never responded, I disputed the charge with my credit card company, at which point, YesChef then offered me a refund or a lifetime membership. I never used their product, and I requested a refund. It has be 7 months, and I am still going back and forth with my credit card company on this charge. YesChef has yet to honor the agreement to refund the $300.
