The process to investigate a case takes unbelievable long. Paid the NZD6,000 deposits in late April (got slightly hit by the car behind). Did all the procedures needed before leaving NZ. It's late July now, we still don't know the results. Yes Rentals just kept saying investigation is in process, please be patient. We can't proceed any claims submission on the booking platform (Ctrip) yet, because YesRentals cannot provide the actual amount we are liable. Also, there is no toll-free number to call from overseas.

That's a good company. Low price and good service. I will choose them again.

I rented a car from Yes Rentals through a booking company called Airportrentals. On pick-up in Christchurch I wanted to extend my rental for a day. This was done but the company could not extend my insurance. The young chaps in both companies were simply rolling their eyes and blaming each other. I would definitely not recommend companies with totally untrained staff and 45 minute wait on their phonelines. This has now left me without insurance.

The car we ordered was not there, or anything similar. We got a car with a knock in the engine and demanded our money back. We were left stranded in the middle of Auckland with 45kg of luggage.. There is little insurance with this deal, I bought my own and lost the lot. You will have you passport photographed if you go here. This place really stinks.
Only the kindness of strangers saved us after travelling for 24hrs.

TERRIBLE RENTAL CAR EVER.

The service is terrible, and they charge unreasonable price for the repair cost without giving any proofs and details. We had an accident but which was too small, even the manager said 'you can go' after checking the car. But we honestly told them the truth that we had a car accident. and then what we get?

we charged more than 5000 NZD and couldn't get our money back for almost 3 months. During the past three months, they do not give us any updates, or processes until we send them en email.

It's totally a scam company. It's like, a nightmare in my entire life. I wanted to have a good holiday in NZ but this YES RENTAL company SCREWED IT UP.

If you want to have a nightmare, use this car.
Service terrible and procedures are unreasonable.
Although you have an insurance, you can't get your money back.

I highly recommmend to avoid this company if you want to enjoy your trip.

DO NOT EVER EVER USE THIS RENTAL CAR. THE MOST TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.
THEY CHARGED US ENTIRELY NONREASONABLE PRICE. SCAM RENTAL CARS.

We had a car accident and first they told us to wait 3 weeks. Got no replies. We sent them an email and they replied us back really late. They changed the words, 5-8 weeks. Got no replies again. It's been almost 3 months since we returned our car back. I think we've waited enough. We pushed them strongly and finally we barely got a reply from them AFTER A WEEK.

All of a sudden, they charged entirely nonreasonable price for the repair cost without giving us any proof of those repair costs. Because our accident was too small that the rental car manager even said us to "you can go" at first. But we conscientiously told them we had a car accident and they charged us more than 5000 NZD and could NOT GET OUR MONEY BACK UNTIL NOW.

Furthermore, they charged more than 2000 NZD for repair costs of both the rental car and 3-party cars WITHOUT any proofs. I think it's toally scam rental car.
