I am extremely disappointed with YOOtheme’s billing practices. They recently took a renewal payment directly from my bank account without any prior notification or reminder. In the UK and Scotland, 'subscription traps' are a serious issue, and under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 (DMCC), businesses are expected to provide proactive reminders before auto-renewing annual subscriptions.

Charging a customer’s card without a warning email 10–14 days prior—stating the amount and how to cancel—is not only poor customer service but increasingly at odds with UK consumer protection standards.
Furthermore, for annual plans, consumers should be entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period upon renewal.

I have requested a full refund as this renewal was processed without my explicit, informed consent for the new term. I strongly advise UK customers to monitor their bank statements closely when using this service.

The best Templates für Joomla ever. The good thing is, that they are so flexible so you can make your own look just using the Yootheme technique behind. They really think about what they are doing. The support is great. Very detailed answers to find what you are looking for.

My site crashed after installing an update and even after restoring with a backup I could not access either the front or back of the site. Even though it was a weekend, Yootheme reponded with a suggestion overnight, which helped me fix the problem.

Michael gave a thorough, thoughtful solution to my problem. We've used YOOtheme templates and YTP for years and love the flexibility. Support is always solid.

Great product and they usually provide pretty quick support

I've being using Yootheme because a client had it in their environment, after having so many problems with images loading and performance in the past 1.5 year,
we got a big Yootheme release the 5.0.0 version where they promised so much but indeed broke so many stuff.

Button disappeared, things didn't load properlu and the images didn't load anymore. Is even funny that their product is for non developer and their fix is to add nginx or htaccess rule that are pretty weird to ask since are very sensitive files... if you see the change-logs after 5.0.0 and you can see is not good.

In 4 days they kept releasing minor version to fix error but it is absurd they do a major release with breaking changes and they don't document anything, and even release it with confident while breaking so many things on a website. The info and fixes found was from other people experiencing problems.

I'm very disappointed, if i do smt like this i would get fired.

The support is always very quick and of great help.

Very fast reaction time - if I post my problem or my question, than I have always at lesser then one hour an quality answer for my next step.
