If you want to cross the finish line of your ARE journey, the Young Architect Academy is the program to choose. Taking both the Pro-Practice and Technical bootcamps kept me incredibly motivated and held me accountable to my study goals. The video courses and practice questions are fantastic, and I love that Mike Riscica and his team are always available whenever I need support. Highly recommend
The ARE podcasts by Michael Riscica and YA team are really helpful to prepare for the ARE exams. I have been using the technical podcasts and they are really easy to understand and they break down complex topics in simpler manner. The analogies they use to make one understand the topics, be it lighting or roofing, or any other topic are interesting to listen to and easy to grasp the concepts.That in turn helps reinforce force the material in my mind with deeper understanding. The notes they provide are really awesome so we can revise even after the podcast is over. The podcasts are rightly timed and can be listened to on your drive to work or while you are at home cooking your dinner. It is also great to watch the podcast on YouTube for all the clear and accurate graphics and notes. Highly recommend as a must use study material!

I have been struggling to understand concepts such as AIA contracts and insurance terminology. The YA podcasts have broken down the subjects into analogies that I can easily remember. If you are struggling with any ARE concepts I would recommend giving YA a try!

ARE Podcast Top Ten Hit List!
I absolutely love the YA team and all their products but have really come to love and rely on all their materials produced from the 101 courses to the podcast! The large exam topics are broken down into smaller, more digestible segments that focus on explanation and why those items matter on both the exams and everyday practice. The podcasts allow me to take this knowledge with me on my phone, in the car, at the gym, or just out walking my dog! If you're not listening to these already, are you even studying for the exams? Seriously though, click play and thank me later...

The way complex material is simplified has been one of the biggest reasons my experience has been so positive so far. When it comes to challenging topics like codes and building systems, having the material broken down into clear, easy-to-understand terms makes a huge difference. It has helped me better understand the concepts while also building my confidence as I work through the material.
Another standout aspect of the program is Michael’s availability and willingness to discuss my thoughts, answer questions, and provide guidance when I need it.
