I searched various CV companies for my CV and got quoted from £130 to £250. I looked at your CV consultant prices and thought they look reasonable but when I send my CV to them for a free assessment got a surprise reply from Chris Pennington " In this instance we feel no significant work is required. Just some basic editing. We would therefore advise there is no need to pay a CV writing company for any work on your CV."
It is pleasantly surprising that they are giving an honest professional opinion without considering the profit.

After I completed my MSc in the UK, I was desperately searching and applying for jobs in my relevant industry (Automotive and Motorsport Engineering). Since I wasn't getting any interviews, I thought maybe there is something wrong with my CV and it isn't going past the ATS. I reached out to a number of CV writing services and they seemed pretty expensive to me as I was just a recent Graduate. There is a whole CV writing Industry out there and they are all just concerned about their BUSINESSES. But this one is different. It's one of a kind. It is pretty rare nowadays to find someone who would choose honesty over making money. I would definitely Suggest their service if you want an honest, candid, and authentic CV Writing Service.

The service was OUSTANDING from start to end. I have been contacted within minutes from booking my cv, letter and LinkedIn account and Chris really took everything I told him about my experience and background on board and presented me in the best possible way. I had considered investing in a professionally written CV for some time, but was always concerned about if the cost of doing so, would really be worth it. I did my research, dithered, put it on the back burner, dithered some more, did more research for probably over a year. I'd read all of the reviews relating to the 'top 10' CV writing companies and I was still unsure.
I stumbled across this company by accident - not one of the leading companies that everyone online talks about, but I liked the reviews. I felt like I would be investing in a company that really cared, rather than a company that you were simply helping to fund their marketing bill. I just felt a connection and with a discount being offered I took the plunge.
I'm so glad I did. I sent my current email to the company and wrote a little email explaining where I was in my current career. Within hours I received an email stating that I would have a CV back within a few days and I did. I had time to review and comment - but it was perfect.
