Put simply, Your Expat Butler managed to do what I couldn't do myself. Coming from the US with only retirement income, I couldn't figure out how to make myself attractive to landlords. I tried for months and it was exhausting. YEB took over and secured a place on my behalf within two weeks. I should have reached out much sooner. They were well worth the fee.

Perfect service, our agent was kind and diligent the whole time

Weronika was very helpful in locating a short-term rental for us. She was extremely responsive during the search and met us at the property when we arrived to make sure we got moved in OK. After we moved in continued to help, communicating with the landlord to get documents we needed to register with the municipality and in resolving some maintenance issues.

They did a great job helping to find our house. They were always prompt and responsive. The place we got wasn't on the market so we wouldn't have gotten it without them!

After spending a long time searching unsuccessfully and exhaustively on my own, a friend recommended Your Expat Butler to me. After contacting them, I found a new apartment and had all the contracts sorted out within a week or so. The YEB agents were very friendly and always responded quickly to my messages and helped me with any questions I had. They were also present at the key handover, which I really appreciated as it meant they could provide immediate support if any problems arose.
All in all, I was very satisfied with the service and can recommend it to anyone who has the opportunity to use it.

100% recommend using expat butler to relocate to the Netherlands from abroad. Weronika found me a very nice place quickly despite my lesser budget. She communicated regularly & simplified the entire process.

Overall it was a good experience. The Butlers communicated quickly and they made sure that they understood our needs. There were some issue that arose, many of which were outside of the agents control like issue with the housing market in general or that a an agent from a different firm in partnership with them did not show up for a viewing. We did have one instant where communication with these agents was a bit lackluster but after voicing our concerns the communication became better, showcasing their mitigation skills. In the end everything worked out fine and we are satisfied with the service they provided.

Very fast to find us a nice place in the most chaotic months

The service was so helpful and we were offered somewhere very fast. All of the documents were taken care of and all communication with the realtor was smooth

Claire from YourExpatButler was extremely helpful in getting us an apartment before we moved from the US.

She attended viewings for us, helped us put in proposals on apartments we liked, and even picked up the keys for us after we signed a lease.

She helped with all the questions we had, both during our search and after we got the apartment.

With how competitive the rental market in Amsterdam is, we would have had a much harder time finding a place without this company and may not have found anything in time for our move.

I could not be more satisfied with YEB's work. Because of the huge number of students enrolling at UU, finding an apartment is a real challenge, especially because of the large number of fraud attempts. Claire's invaluable assistance proved to be a game changer in the process. I highly recommend YEB to those who prefer not to take risks when moving to Utrecht.

The entire experience overall was very dodgy. I’m not sure if they’re new and inexperienced or if the issue is entirely different, but for us it was just a waste. The brokers become uncommunicative after a while and it feels like they’re in over their heads. You’re better off using a different company or looking on your own. I’m not sure if all these 5-star reviews are paid for, but they don’t reflect our experience at all.
