Zemlin caps are a must for expensive glass..not like OEM that fall when lenses in your back pack...worth money to protect the lease, never fall off loose..absolute best.hoods are amazing too...Karl has great customer service gets back to you right away....higly recommend.I have been dealing with zemlin for more than 2 years..dont bother looking for other options because there is none.

I have purchased 2 products from Zemlinphoto - a Nikon Z8 eyecup and a lens cap for my Nikon 800mm f/6.3 lens. Both products are of the highest quality, both in terms of design and implementation. Karl Zemlin's products are so good that I am willing to pay the Fedex international shipping fee to get them. His products are very popular and it typically takes a few weeks for them to be manufactured and delivered - but it is worth the wait.

I was looking for a lense cap for my Nikon 600mm F/4 G lens as the cover that comes with this lens leaves a lot to be desired.

I found Zemlin photo and decided to buy a lens cap as he specifically had a cap fo my lens model.

i hadnt quite appreciated hat was making the lens caps to order using his own designs on a 3D printer and I have to say the build quality is impeccable.

The fitment is perfect, reallly secure and positive and im a lot happier that the large objective element is protected by something more than the silly bag thing that Nikon provide.

Service, comminication and shipping were superb and Karl even popped in some little packets of sweets! Nice touch.

When he's back from his break I will buy the replacement lems hoods he offers because the Nikon ones a re so noisy and insecure.
