Basically a motorbike but Mum thinks it’s “exercise”

We got this e-bike because our parents said it would “encourage outdoor activity” and now we go outside too much. Honestly rude.

First of all, it goes way faster than expected. Like, wind in your hair, screaming, pretending you’re in a movie fast. But don’t worry parents, we definitely ride “responsibly” when you’re watching.

Battery life is amazing. We rode it around town, to the shops, to our friend’s house, past our ex-friend’s house, and then back again just to be dramatic — and it was still alive.

It fits all three of us (not at once
 most of the time). Seat is comfy, suspension is smooth, and it makes us feel cool even when we’re wearing bike helmets which is honestly impressive.

Downsides:
Causes arguments over whose turn it is
Makes walking feel unnecessary
Friends suddenly want to “come over” a lot

Overall, 10/10. Would recommend if you want your teenagers happy, slightly feral, and never asking for lifts again.

e-bike

I have to be completely honest, we love the bike itself, but the customer service is really slow. When I purchased the bike, I was told it was express shipping and would arrive within the week. It didn't arrive for at least two weeks and when I used the chat and email, no one responded for a day or two. Then my son fell off it and fork was damaged, which I think is pretty poor quality for a $3k bike. When I had to purchase this again, again the customer service was extremely slow and slow postage, again. The bike itself is great, my son loves it, there are no issues. However I think you can improve on your customer service, given you don't have a store front, and customers need to have this service if you're operating online.

We’re sorry to hear about the delays you experienced with both shipping and communication. During peak periods, responses can take a little longer than we’d like, and that’s something we’re actively working on improving, especially as an online-only business where communication is so important.

Regarding delivery timeframes, while we do offer express shipping options, final delivery timelines can unfortunately be affected by courier delays outside of our control. That said, we understand how frustrating that can be when expectations aren’t met.

In relation to the fork damage, we’re really sorry to hear about your son’s fall. Damage caused by an accident or impact isn’t indicative of a manufacturing fault, but we appreciate that it’s still upsetting — especially on a premium bike — and we’re glad we were able to help get you back up and riding.

Customer Service Amazing Bike is okay

Customer service spectacular responded quickly sent the products out and were understanding to all my issues. The bike however is okay as it does everything its labbled goes 45km/hr throttle works pedal assist everything is as labbled. But for the range its advertised as 50 however realistically the range is 20 to 30km at best going 15 with pedal assist and no throttle. Would recommend different place to buy no disrespect.

The whole experience has been a joke

It Started Bad with missing battery and long delays getting it.

But, always a but. After all was sorted out it turns out its a really decent bike. Battery life is amazing and bike has a lot of power. I would buy it again.

Forks broke from a very small fall on


The forks broke after a very small fall on grass, which isn’t covered under warranty—a bit understandable if we’d had it for a while, but it had only been a couple of weeks since purchase (1 week since my son received it for his birthday. Now we have to pay for the replacement. There’s no phone number to call, everything has to be handled by email. The brakes are set up the European way, which wasn’t mentioned online, and that’s why my 13-year-old son crashed. His birthday present is now unusable. Very poor quality and service—would not recommend. If you’re looking to buy an e-bike, go to Fatboi; much better quality, service, and they’re a lot lighter compared to this one, which is extremely heavy.

Amazing bike and shop!

My son put his hard earned savings towards the Cruise X3 and he is absolutely LOVING IT.

I was a bit sceptical myself about making such a big purchase online, but after reading a number of positive reviews about the shop and bike, he got my blessing.

The bike looks and runs amazing, with several of his mates counting their savings now as well 😂

The delivery was also faster than promised (to Adelaide).

The reason for leaving this review, however, was the great support when enquiring about a minor issue we encountered with one of the inner tubes. The prompt and positive response from the team solidified that we made the right choice with Zephyre bikes.

Surprisingly great!

I ordered this bike on Thursday around 1pm and received my bike at 9:30am Saturday, it came almost completely set up and was easy to finish. Genuinely no complaints, throttle didn’t work at first, sent an email and got a reply within 20 minutes with a video showing up to enable it. P.s the bike actually goes up to 52kmh, absolute gun and looks like a motorbike essentially, so happy with this.

Great bike

Bike order and delivery was great instruction book etc fairly easy to use
Had to use YouTube to work out how to set accelerator and speeds though
A lot of functions on there I’m not sure of but feeling our way

My son ordered his bike on the 24Nov. Sitting at depot since then and notices haven't changed in the last 7days.
When ordered timeline 10-14days.
Most disappointed in our experience to date and we are still waiting for the bike!

Can’t give product feedback as 2 weeks later it still hasn’t arrived. No notification. Had to spend 2.5 hours tracking toll. They have not been at all helpful promising 2 deliveries and just not showing up.
