Ridiculous Verification Demands
Have been on this site almost a year. Recently changed my email address but not my phone number. Zoosk has limited my account because they cannot 'verify' my email address. Although I have provided 3 addresses with GMX, AOL and Tutanota, I receive no Verification emails, no Spam messages or Trash from Zoosk. This could be rectified by a phone call to confirm my email but this never occurs to these folks.
Instead, I can no longer receive mail from other members, cannot contact other members, and have been taunted on 'Carousel' with the photo of one undesirable member that appears repeatedly with the caption: "He Likes You!!". At this juncture a pop up comes up that says: "Verify your Email" and I am frozen in place and cannot move about the site freely. I am a 72 year old lady, college graduate, and wanted to be on the site to make friends but other problems have occurred. Messages to members sometimes disappear and are not received at all. And, sometimes members who you've felt the need to reject are then 'matched' with you. Can't help feeling someone is having fun at my expense.
