bad service, ignorant when problems arise

I have used Tenerife Holiday Apartments as a Vacation rental for the last time ever

We have just visited Los Gigantes and stayed 2 weeks in a flat ( Cornissa 1-6 ) which was booked through this company. You can't say bad things about weather and view but the interior of the flat was pretty lousy. But I can live with that as long as the rest is working. The coffee maker didn't exist. When I called next day and told that it was broken. They just told me, that it was the owners responsibility what was available in the flat. I was told to contact the UK office which I did and got a not so friendly lady in the phone without no doubt pretty annoyed by this call. We received a coffee maker the next day and I hoped to have no further contact with her.

Unfortunately Saturday in the last week we were at the pool area for 2 hours and when we got back my wife discovered that someone had been in the flat. She told me that she could see that someone had messed in the closet. I checked my wallet and 200€ was gone and a pair of sunglasses but the 2 I-phones and I-pad was still there. We knew for certain that the flat was locked because we to days back reported that we had seen people enter the flat next door through the window. When I later told the "not so friendly " lady that she said this was pretty normal ( ??? ). Nevertheless I had to call the UK office once more and reported this incident and this time she was "Not Friendly" . I simply don't have words to describe her behavior. It was impossible that someone could get into the flat without breaking in and throughout the three conversations I had with her she was totally persistent and even laughed when I tried to convince her that someone with a key had entered the flat.

I asked for the lockers to be changed and she told me this was impossible because of bank holidays. It was sat jan 6. To days later a man came and changed one of the lockers ( there were three) and I tried to tell him that, but impossible. He couldn't speak two words of english.

The rest of the holiday we had to bring all Our belongings with us. We are pretty sure thet it was one of the cleaning wives that cleaned the apartmen thursday and the incident happened Saturday.

I can live with he loss but I can't live with a total ignorant attitude from this company.

You are far better off using HomeAway , AirBnb – here you have a direct contact with the owner as this would have been far better in Our case
