I took nearly 10 mn to reach a person on the phone, on a Monday evening.
Then I was told it would be an hour and a half wait! I stated I was a woman on my own, on the motorway and that it was getting dark; luckily a patrol just called in and I was then told 40mn. Dave texted me his ETA and arrived earlier, there was not much he could do but explain what was required, and he called the lorry to take me to the friends I was visiting.
Dave was extremely helpful and both RAC officers were great.
