Repeated delivery failure, little interest in customer service
I made this order 09/08/20, on the expectation of receiving the item within 3-5 working days. (By Friday 14th August)
Between UK Office Direct and their courier, 3 times I was notified on a delivery, on Wed 12th August, Thursday 13th August and Monday 17th August. Each time, the delivery was cancelled shortly before the expected window of the delivery. Along with the successful delivery date of Tuesday 18th August, I had to take 4 days off work. 3 days wasted due to extremely poor service.
When I received the desk, it was evident from the packaging, there was clearly no care taken in its transportation. Miraculously, there is only one scratch on the desk and is on the underside of the desk top, so not visible. Finally, there was a screw fitting which was not fitted correctly, which I remedied myself.
I have raised some of these issues to be given an apology and the query promptly closed. I left a review on the desk on your website, which was rejected upon review by a moderator. There was nothing in the review that was not factually correct. Are you deliberately misleading customers?
Awful service, avoid at all costs
