Be a force for good, not a force for greed
Oh VM. What to do? No interruptions for some time now. Good. Writing a letter telling customers that you intend raising prices annually on a compound basis by reference to two markers, RPI and 4 per cent, astounding. After a couple of years VM would be more expensive than most people's mortgage. I'm in a vulnerable group. But I wrote and said I have to leave because annual compound percentage increases are unacceptable. Immediately I am told I can stay on my old rate. Which means that probably the only people paying these whacking increases are people even more vulnerable than me. Where's your soul? Forget the shareholders and the CEO's bonus. You are a service company. Think of your customers. Be a force for good, not a force for greed.
