"subscriptions are set up by customers during checkout."
So when you think you have ordered something, and are focussing on paying, you miss that if you don't check "one off", they'll just keep coming. Then you learn another is on its way, and lo, it is too late to cancel because it's on its way. How many people have never used you again after that experience?
The reply confirms that the default setting is continuous deliveries, and that if you don't spot, and click on, "one off" at the end, just before you pay, you get continuous deliveries. No "number of emails" were received. Only a notice that something was being delivered, and a statement that it was too late to cancel. Do you care about your customers enough to have "one off" as the default option???

I don't understand this. When I buy online, they say they will send me a code. They don't send the code. Then they say either I have blocked them or my provider has blocked them. Neither is the case. And clearly they don't know they've been blocked. They just don't check their end to see if the code has in fact been sent. I cannot fathom why. I can't say anyone has been impolite. They just haven't found anyone willing to get to the bottom of it. I suspect they are trying to force me to use their app, which I don't want to do, bcause it never works.

Government Gateway did not accept the user ID they sent me and I copied and pasted. Phone service. Waited half an hour. Agent put the phone down on me.
God help us.

Job Done. Chris is a nice guy. That's important when someone comes to your home for the first time. Chris knew exactly what was wrong and how to fix it. That comes from experience. Should I mention this? The price? It was reasonable.

Zero. Anyone checking if ebay is OK hardly needs another zero review to guide them, but: Medal advertised as LARGE (the seller's capitals), measuring 4cm on the picture. It was small. 2cm, half the size of the picture. ebay refused a remedy. Said seller had complied with its code of practice. All you need to know about ebay's standards then.

Dear Microsoft. How can I type a document, name it, store it, and not be able to find it? It doesn't work. What were you thinking?

Every time the word 'and' is in your draft:
If it has a comma after the word before it, 365 tells you to remove the comma.
If is doesn't have a comma after the word before it, 365 tells you to put a comma in.
The odds of my getting it wrong EVERY time are low. Randomly, I'd get it right once in a while.
And
When you shut down, it doesn't give you the "save- don't save-cancel" window. It just shuts down. That is scary and disturbing.
I know what A stands for in AI. I have yet to be persuaded that I stands for 'intelligence', not 'idiot'.

Trustpilot asks me to be helpful and constructive:
These people send me text message codes. I have no business with Shopify. I have read many people say that Shopify pretends someone must have mistyped their number when challenged. It happens too often for that explanation to be believable.

Still getting texts I didn't ask for. No doubt the company would say someone must have inputted the wrong number if I were to challenge them. Baffling how many people don't know their own phone number

Bought Citigo 2017. Number of problems with car since then: None. Number of problems with key: Two. It's flimsy. It breaks. There's a grub screw the diameter of pin. Cost of replacement £200! I complimented your service agent on the way he explained so well what I had to do to replace the key. He said "I've said it so many times." Unsurprising. And since you may read this, please take off the web the information that says 931 Great West Road is still functioning. It closed 2016. I had to do an annoying circle to get back to the one that's open. Again, problems with the car: None. So good on the big stuff, not so hot on the small.

Anderson and Daniel went out of their way to be helpful.
I feel embarrassed saying this. I had expected microsoft support to be rubbish. 365 seemed to be demanding that I pay for a service I did not want and I asked Support to stop it. It took a while, and I still have the stupid invitations twice every time I open hotmail, but these two gentlemen were unfailingly polite, when I wasn't quite as polite as them, and insistent on solving my problem. Passing over the program that keeps pushing 365 in my face, those two in Support were Supportive. What you would want Support to be.

A gentleman calls from Lexus. "We got your letter. I am the wrong person to be calling you. I will connect you with the right person."
Another gentleman comes on the line. The first person did not speak to him. The second person does not know about my letter. He doesn't know about Lexus' letter either. He also is the wrong person to be dealing with me. "I will connect you with the right person."
Another gentleman comes on the line, He does not know about the first and second gentleman. They have told him nothing. He does not know about the Lexus letter or my letter. He is going to speak to a manager and call me back.
Why did the first man ring?
Why did he put me through to the second without explaining to him what the call was about?
Why did the second not know anything?
Why did the second man put me through to the third without telling him what the call was about?
Why did the third man not know about the Lexus letter or my letter?
Why did the first man call if he couldn't help? Why was I put through to two people who did not know what my letter said?
I thought a cascade of nine automatic transfers was a nadir. No. There are sub-nadirs.

Oh VM. What to do? No interruptions for some time now. Good. Writing a letter telling customers that you intend raising prices annually on a compound basis by reference to two markers, RPI and 4 per cent, astounding. After a couple of years VM would be more expensive than most people's mortgage. I'm in a vulnerable group. But I wrote and said I have to leave because annual compound percentage increases are unacceptable. Immediately I am told I can stay on my old rate. Which means that probably the only people paying these whacking increases are people even more vulnerable than me. Where's your soul? Forget the shareholders and the CEO's bonus. You are a service company. Think of your customers. Be a force for good, not a force for greed.
