Excellent Customer Service
On taking out my policy on line I noted that one of my cruise destiations was NOT included in the list. I attempted to amend the policy but could not find the missing destination in the drop-down.
As it was late in the night I needed to wait until the next day to contact Customer Service. In the Amend My Policy/Contact Us it suggested Live Chat.
I am a big fan of Live Chat so I opted for that method. I didn't have to wait more than a minute for an agent who was Gem -- a real gem!!
She suggested that I could find the Canary Islands by looking for THE Canary Islands. She waited in the chat box whilst I made the change myself, not incurring any fee for the amendment.
She was so good-humoured, friendly and supportive. Like having advice from a friend.
I got the new policy documents in seconds and I am on to the next step of planning my holiday. And with that worry behind me, my day has brightened immeasurably. Thank you, Gem!! A credit to the Customer Service team.
