Migration rip off
I was with Shell Energy broadband which has now been migrated automatically to TalkTalk. My final bill from Shell Energy was more than double what it should have been. I called Shell Energy and was promised the over-charge will be credited. It wasn't. The money left my bank account. I called Shell Energy again to be told that my account was now transferred to TalkTalk and the customer service rep was not interested in my issue. I don't know how and if I can get my money back now. I've been ripped off and my warning to others is, if you can, leave before you are migrated. This could happen to you across any of the Shell Energy services if they follow the same practices.
The funny thing is I was also ripped off by TalkTalk upon leaving them years ago and now I've been migrated back to them.
I'm not alone with this experience, there is another review also recommending to leave before migration and also another where Shell Energy have taken more money out of the bank account. There's another review about the migration team and I can also say that they were unprofessional, unhelpful and who-ever the lady was that promised to credit me lied. I won't be signing up to any other Shell Energy services again.
