Appalling staff

Ordered a cake online for collection. Realised I didn’t do delivery so called up the Wembley store and asked if can be delivered to a restaurant for 6pm onwards.

First the lady I spoke to had no manners and lack of English. She said there aren’t any deliveries today and then told me to call back in 30 mins. So I did, she confirmed £10 for delivery and will be from 6pm.

5:15pm I had several miss calls from the branch so I called back. They had tried to delivery the cake but because I didn’t answer my phone they took my cake back. When I got a moment I called back. The 2 ladies I spoke to refused to give me there names. They hung up on my several times. Told me I HAD TO come collect the cake because I missed my delivery or they will throw it away because I had already paid for it. She said it wasn’t her problem anymore! She scream at me on the phone!!

I had no notification of cake being delivered before 6pm which was original drop off time. And the staff was just rude. Had me on loud speaker and I could hear them whispering in the back. I eventually recorded the conversation because it just got worse and worse. After mentioning I’ll be comparing to head office they then agreed to redeliver my cake but had the cheek to tell me it will be £20 for delivery and then went down to £15.

The staff told me “they are not allowed to give me there names, as a company policy”

They hung up on my several times and I had to keep calling to figure out whether or not I’ll be getting my cake or not! The cake got delivered to restaurant at 8:40pm!! At this point the little birthday girl had left!!

Your customer service states 24/7 and it isn’t! I called SEVERAL times and left msgs for call back and I got nothing. What a joke!

Disgusting! Never again will I be using cake box.

Have contacted your customer services SERVERAL times and no one has gotten back to me at all!! What a joke… 18th Dec and still waiting to actually speak to customer services!


Got told last Wednesday 18th I’d be getting a refund… I’m still waiting it’s the 26th Dec now
