I’ve had a pension since 2019 with PensionBee and am reaching 55 years of age. I’ve just checked how much money my pension has made since 2019 and it was less than £1000 (I have been checking regularly) . I would not recommend them, if you’re thinking of transferring your pensions to them. I made a mistake, I don’t want anyone else to make the same mistake.
They said they would investigate and get back to me. Guess what, they never did. DO NOT USE.

Dear Vikki,
Thank you for your feedback.
We understand that watching your balance be impacted when you are so close to retirement can be anxiety-inducing, and it’s important to remember that all investments come with risk.
The global equity markets have experienced volatility recently due to the ongoing geopolitical events with the US, but as pensions are long term investments, they’re designed to weather short-term fluctuations. Historically, pensions have recovered and gone on to grow in the years following periods of volatility, although, as the uncertainty is still ongoing, you may not see this recovery reflected in your balance just yet.
It’s important to note that this volatility is impacting the entire pensions industry, and is not isolated to PensionBee. You can read more about this in our recent blog: https://www.pensionbee.com/uk/blog/2025/may/what-happened-to-pensions-april-2025.
We can also see that you have only been invested with PensionBee since 2022, and historical trends suggest that staying invested over the long term increases the likelihood of positive returns. Nevertheless, we're pleased to see that you have experienced some growth within this short time period.
We hope that the above offers some clarity on your concerns, but if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
