Don't buy from this company
Well where do I start. Ordered from the Debenhams website due to well know name and previous reputation. Should have done my checks first. Ordering was good and communication re delivery fine. Freezer delivered in good time, I had to arrange delivery to the garage at home due to the delivery company only telling me early on the morning of delivery the date and time. Got home from work un packed to find 3 quite large dents in various parts of tge cabinet.
Tried to contact Debenhams no telephone number only whats app or messenger contact, nightmare.
They do eventually answer both but around 4am in the morning and go over the same details time and time again.
I also contacted home and living DBZ who they used to send the freezer. They were much more helpful.
I eventually agreed a £40 refund allowance to my card and I would keep the freezer. Only to be then told by Debenhams I was told have a £44 gift card which they say i selected, but most certainly did not.
Home and living have repeatedly asked Debenhams to give me the £40 refund to my card, Debenhams refuse.
After days of going back and forth I have now unfortunately had to claim a charge back via my credit card and tell them to collect the goods. This company is a nightmare, please heed the reviews and do not order from them. Communication is very poor and after service a disaster. A simple £40 refund would have saved days of repeated messaging and the situation could have been resolved. Please do not buy from them one of the worse companies I have ever dealt with.
