Very Disappointing Experience

Unfortunately, my experience with Johnson’s Garden Building Services has been extremely disappointing. Customer service and communication were poor throughout. Despite clearly advising that I was on holiday and happy to deal with matters on my return, I was repeatedly contacted and chased for payment and installation date confirmation, which unnecessarily disturbed my time away.

The quality of the building materials used was well below what was promised during initial discussions. As a result, I have had to repair and resolve several issues myself—problems that should not have occurred had the materials been of a better quality.

The finished work failed to meet the standard and quality that were discussed and expected. Overall, the service did not reflect what was advertised or agreed.

The only positive part of this experience was the two builders on site, who worked hard and were very polite and professional throughout the project. Unfortunately, this does not outweigh the overall poor experience, and I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

Hi Shannon,

We seem to be having trouble matching your name with a customer record but the closest match we have seems to indicate that you had a faulty door which was replaced and that you raised a concern that the door hooks were left unfitted, to which you were advised that this is so that doors can be painted prior to their installation but, as a goodwill gesture, we offered to send a technician to fit them once you had applied the treatment paint. We can only apologise for any inconvenience caused.
In respect of the contact regarding installation dates etc., we can see that you were away but did advise you were happy to be contacted, albeit via your husband's phone as yours was not receiving calls. However, we also apologise if this caused you any inconvenience but, whilst we are always keen to provide our valued customers with the soonest possible installation date, we would have happily deferred had we been aware that contact at that time was inconvenient.
