I use Smart shop scanner and it’s great till you get to the checkout. At the store in Alton Hants it can be quite usual for less than half of the checkouts to be working. Moreover staffing levels are too low. This is stressful to both staff and customers. Add to this the system often needs staff intervention for rescanning or receipts stuck in the machine or some other problem not a good experience. Although I submitted this in respect of a particular visit it’s the same every week. I avoided going close to Christmas envisaging greater chaos than usual
