We were looking at buying a Dyson in person throughout Dublin but couldn’t find one with stock.
When we saw on the Dyson website we get free next day delivery we were really excited as most companies don’t offer this unless they use some sort of express shipping.
I get an email at 7 PM saying it’s dispatched but no tracking number yet offered, only an internal Dyson reference number.
Next day nothing happens. I reach out to Dyson and they immediately send me to Anpost. I get in touch with Anpost, they tell me without a tracking number they cannot check, I should talk to Dyson.
Back to Dyson again, I explain the situation and I simply ask if the item is still in their warehouse or already been passed on to Anpost but they probably didn’t scan it.
Customer rep kept going around in circles, said when it dispatches I should be notified.
I was, but not provided a tracking number? Hello? Are you listening?
Imagine having to listen to people that live in SEA explain to me how things work in Ireland with Anpost.
Stop outsourcing jobs to people who don’t give a rat’s ass you cheap bastards.
Avoid at all costs.
