There not willing to take responsibility for errors

I’ve been a Jacamo customer with a credit account for over three years, and I’m really disappointed with how things have been handled. Their customer service feels poor — whenever you raise an issue, they just quote terms and conditions instead of actually listening or trying to understand the situation.

I made two payments and then received an email stating that my minimum payment for the month was zero, so naturally I assumed my payments had covered everything. The email confirmed this, so I had no reason to think anything was wrong. Despite that, my credit file was updated with a missed payment, which has had a big impact.

When I contacted them to resolve it, the advisor refused to answer my questions and dismissed the email error as irrelevant. It felt like they weren’t interested in understanding what happened or how their own communication misled me. I was honestly gutted — the email reassured me I’d met my payment, yet they refused to acknowledge their mistake. I feel absolutely gutted my credit file has a negative marker.
