Appalling service

Appalling service. Received a 2 night hotel stay and afternoon tea gift from a friend for Christmas. Hotels offered are extremely limited, some shown on the website are no longer available. Those that are listed only have very limited availability and several have other hoops that you must jump through such as you must eat in the restaurant when you stay. I've tried two seperate hotels and dates, one was no longer accepting these vouchers and the other would not accept a booking despite having availability. The service direct from Activity Superstore has been woeful with delayed and dismissive responses. Furthermore the second part of the voucher (Afternoon tea) cannot be booked at the same hotel you stay at, and also has extremely limited availability, the real kicker was being told to phone venues myself to arrange the booking after I spent ages trying to book on the Activity Superstore website. All told a horrific experience, I've been told I can't get a refund so tough, pick a different hotel and date. My advice is to avoid this company at all costs and book directly with venues.

Bookings for experience vouchers are managed in line with the availability and allocation provided by our partner venues. Hotels provide a limited number of stays specifically for voucher redemptions, which may differ from the general availability shown when booking directly. This is why bookings are always subject to availability and may include venue-specific conditions.

It is with regret that locations do occasionally discontinue in packages between the time of purchase and when the pack went to print, however we do try to replace these throughout the year. I have reviewed the correspondence with our customer service team and can see they were working hard to resolve this for you and offered to upgrade your package so that you could take your full experience at your originally requested venue.

We apologise for any disappointment caused throughout the booking process.
