I am very disappointed with Seascanner’s handling of my MSC booking. As a Diamond member, I have experienced repeated pricing inconsistencies since November 2025.
After my membership discount was applied, the booking total differed from the website price by £2. Although this raised concerns, I chose not to pursue it further in good faith, as the amount was minor.
The more serious issue arose with the internet package. I was provided with an official written quote of £136.72, but was repeatedly told by the agent that this was a “per person” price rather than a package price. This explanation later proved to be incorrect and prevented me from booking the package at that time.
When I later discovered via MSC that the internet package is sold per package, the price had increased by approximately 33%. Seascanner has since stated that they cannot honor the original quoted price and advised me to wait 3–5 weeks for a review.
I am sharing this experience to highlight the importance of clear and accurate pricing information, especially when customers are making time‑sensitive decisions.
