Boots the Chemisy Pharmacy staff are bad for your health!
I am Chronically ill and spend most of my time in bed or Sofa. I had to use my local Boots chemist ( HERNE Bay, Kent) as it was tthe only local chemist that could order my regular Fentanyl Patches.
My previous chemist had a free delivery service, were very kind and friendly and would attempt to deliver on 3 occasions.
Boots charge me £55 annually, which out a strict criteria to qualify; just a need. Payment was also available @ £5 per delivery.
This involves a few phone calls each way, to organise home delivery and at first the staff were kind and helpful.
Omongst other conditions, I have Chronic Fatigue syndrome and wear a CPAP mask , so it was arranged that Boot delivery staff could come into my house and calll out my name to Wake me the often the door bed or phone wouldn’t. This worked great until delivery manager, just stopped coming into my hall, with no explanation. So I missed my medication arriving and often had no current pills, as confusion is a a symptom. One time my carer was taking me out for a meal and we were short of time,so I asked Boots staff, if Icould have an earlier delivery
This week (17th March) Itried to confirm that the deltperson would come into the house. ‘HELEN’ reported that I wasn’t house bout with the inference that I deserve a delivery. I have tried to talk to the other pharmacy staff and now they are all accusing me generally. This was a day I was ill with a temperature and while dosing missed another delivery of fentanyl patches. They knew Ihad none left, but told me ii would have to go without. I was very upset, but was told offfor raising my voice in panic! Luckily my son could collect them, but I’vepaid £55 to bed verbally abused and have my carers struggling to collect prescriptions and do my look after me. They haven even stated that they are in favour of me going to signing up chemist, didtipe the hugeamoubt of business Inring to them from my long list of medication. As Idont know when items are going to be delivered, however I’lli get, I can’t fall asleep in my own house! Have ‘the customer’ in tears every time I need my medica is unacceptable.
