Terrible Service – Debt Collection Mistake & Awful Claims Handling
I’ve had an extremely disappointing experience with this insurance company. Even after I paid my outstanding balance in full, they still passed my account to a debt collection agency. I contacted customer service to fix the issue, and they assured me it would be updated, but two days later I received another call from the collection agency. Completely unacceptable and stressful for something that was their mistake.
On top of that, my accident claim was handled terribly. My car was left pending inspection for ages, and the whole claim took nearly a month to complete. During that time, I received no courtesy car, barely any updates, and I had to keep calling and pushing for answers myself. No proper communication, no accountability.
Because of their delays and lack of support, I ended up spending £970 on a rental car out of my own pocket. Honestly, it made me question why I even bothered paying for fully comprehensive insurance when I got none of the service you would expect.
Overall, this has been one of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had. I hope they review their processes because this is ridiculous
