After care
Optical Express were great when visiting the Preston branch to see about having eye surgery.
This went ahead in Manchester September 2025 then problems started with my eyes not in vision and painful to light.
Having seen various eye clinicians over a period of weeks things were not improving, the same answer it takes time.
Eventually getting to see someone who could understand the problems I was having things started to improve slowly.
The after care not all what it's made out to be?
I was given x2 appointments and attended only to find no one there to see me.
That's meant travelling from Manchester twice at my cost.
I was given money out of the petty cash for the fuel cost, eyes were still a problem though.
Things are slowly getting better and my vision much clearer at this moment in time.
I have now been told its £100 for any further visits, I don't find this very fair.
I know it's in the small print after 3x month if you wish to see anyone.
But having been twice and not seen i find this unfair.
I have made a complaint to the head office but received a phone call to say they will still be a change for any further appointments.
Great at taking your money at first, after care shocking? Hope you get everything right in the x3 months they give you.
