Very pleasant delivery driver

I entered the Spire hospital as a NHS patient for an hip replacement. I have never been in hospital before and was a little concerned with the stories you hear.
The Spire trashed all that. From admission to discharge I was treated extremely well with no complaints whatsoever. I would have given six stars if I could!

This transaction was to place our home into joint names so a relatively easy process. We found Bird & Co extremely efficient and courteous completing the process in a timely manner. Communication was awesome keeping us in touch along the way. We had obtained one other quote for comparison and their charges seemed to be in the right ball park. No hesitation in recommending on our experience.

Greenscape Energy supplied our panels as part of the "Solar Together" incentive from the local council. Overall we are satisfied with the installation but with a few gripes along the way.
The first was a poor initial survey. The roof was assessed and measured. As the pitch changes in the roof it was decide that we could have 7 panels across with a row of two below. When the installers arrived 7 across would have taken us a tad across the neighbours and there was enough room for a total of 12 panels instead of 9. When asked if this could be altered (obviously at extra cost) it was explained that we were limited to 16A per phase and the answer was no. We had to settle for one row 6 and one row of the 3 instead of 2x6. Does not really satisfy the OCD in me but only the neighbours have to look at it not me!
The second gripe is the cost of pigeon proofing. At £400 one expects something a little high tech - no, just green mesh fixed around the periphery of the panels.
Final gripe - The installers were in such a rush to leave. I was told the app would be up and running in a few minutes and they left without checking. The app never ran and someone had to return some days later to sort.
As an aside I decided that, at my age, batteries added a substantial amount to the price which I may never recoup. British Gas offer an export rate of 15p per kWh if you are a BG electricity customer so any excess generation gives you a reasonable return.
Overall I am satisfied with the installation and with reference to the gripes above I cannot fault Greenscape on their speedy responses.

Out current delivery driver is the most pleasant courteous driver you could wish for. We manage polite conversation whenever he delivers thank you.

First time purchase. Required urgently so very impressed with the next day delivery. Ordered mid afternoon, there before 10am next day. I was unsure if the correct delivery address had been placed on the order. Call to customer services could not sort it out immediately but promised a call back which was received within the next 5 minutes.

Items reasonably priced with excellent delivery. From past experience with TekLed I know they will be replaced promptly and without question should they become faulty.

Blinds2go have been our go-to company for all our blinds. You can be rest assured that they will always address any issues/problems you have with their products.
However on this occasion they have excelled!
A few years ago we purchased conservatory blinds and, where some condensation gathers, the bottom fixing clips rusted. We wrote to Blinds2go to see if these clips were still available expecting to buy some. We had a next day reply (SUNDAY!!) saying replacement clips would be in the post free of charge.
This is the next level of customer service and any new customers should be reassured with our experience.

Had two new tyres at fitted at Hinckley after a easy hassle free online booking. Online booking gives you the opportunity to leisurely view tyres, their attributes and prices before making a selection.
The following day I had a funeral to attend and fortunately I went out to the car 15 mins early and noted one of the new tyres was flat. It should not have happened but I accept that things do go wrong now and again.
A call to the Hinckley branch and an explanation of my dilemma lead to prompt action. If I could reinflate the tyre and get it down to the depot they would look at it straight away. On arrival it was taken straight to the workshop and returned to me within 10 mins with an apology for a valve that was passing. I made the funeral with 5 mins to spare.
A measure of a company is its reaction to a shortfall with its service and I can say that ETS were more than on top of this one. Thank you ETS.

We are newbies to holiday travel and researching a way to spend abroad took quite a while. Our current bank charged a fee for spending abroad so that was out. We tried to apply to two prepaid cards but gave up with both as we got lost in the applications and we consider ourselves computer savvy!
Thank god for Currensea! The application was quick and simple and the card arrived in a few days. The card application sets up a Direct Debit to your bank account so transactions on your Currensea card can be charged automatically to your account a few days later. One disconcerting aspect as you progress your application is the requirement to set up a Direct Debit. You select your bank from a list and it takes your direct to your online log in page which is a little scary in these times. Reading the help files assured me this was normal so proceeded. Set up was then complete.
Used the card a couple of times in the UK to test and holiday spending was a breeze. Being Mastercard it was accepted everywhere in our destination (Euros) and the app means you can track your spending along with the exchange rate. We got a near perfect exchange rate on our transactions so we still fail to see where Currensea makes their money but who cares, we were satisfied. One small downside is you cannot have joint cards, you have to apply individually, but one was sufficient for our needs. The joy of this card is you do not have to preload money with potential charges to load and reclaim unused currency. Highly recommended.

I have been a customer of Toolstation for a number of years and since opening a new shop in Hinckley it has been my preferred supplier. I especially like the extremely prompt Click & Collect service. I can order at home and immediately set out knowing on the way there I will be notified that my order is ready for collection. Love the Click & Collect special counter so you can bypass all those with purchasing queries. I think my world record is one minute in store.
But!! I have recently noticed that many items that are on the website are out of stock for collection (and delivery) and find this frustrating as it then requires a further trip elsewhere. I am all for one stop shopping.
And finally. Please Toolstation can you improve your item description. It is usually very vague at best. Compare with Screwfix!

Door closers are (in my mind) difficult to specify and the website was informative making selection a lot easier. The prices were competitive even factoring the delivery charge. Delivery was a very prompt next day thank you.

We have been a regular customer with Sykes over the years but this year the wheels have come off. It had been a difficult period for all holiday companies and we realise this but the information coming out of Sykes for our holiday that started on the 4th July has been zero. We emailed them about 2weeks before asking if the holiday was still ok and no reply until the day before stating they think so! They can manage to bombard with promotional stuff but when it comes customer care it had been extremely poor. We will consider very carefully whether we will book with them in the future.

Just started my second year with Utility Point. I could only have saved £30 pa by switching so decided to stay. I have had no problems at all in the last year with Direct Debits, statements or meter readings. My criticism would rest with the length of time to credit "refer a friend" requiring an email that was acknowledged but not answered and subsequent phone call that took 35 mins to be answered. Credit to Utility Point at this point as the credit was applied immediately after the call.
Sort your customer service and I would happily give you 5 stars!

Very happy with the ease of choosing tyres and the clear pricing. The fitting experience depends on the garage chosen so must mention Eden Tyre Services in the Hinckley area as being very friendly and professional

I had researched this company and made the application online having received a very competitive quotation. However it stated at the end of the application (and after I had paid) the policy would not be effective unless contacted by one of the team. The call was made after about one hour. This involved the team member going through everything I had written and every term and condition I had read for about ten minutes. A very pleasant conversation but what a waste of time. Four stars for the website and policy less 1 star for the unnecessary review.
