never again! I'm not DIY minded ! We bought an 40w LED panel light and eventually needed an electrician to install it! cost us more in the long run! Driver for panel should be connected with the fitted male adapter only to (a proper junction spur box) with the proper female connector via the mains!...not supplied with local authority housing! not surprised!! UPDATE: Light arrived with bash in rear housing Probably due to careless butterfingered couriers? Electrician had problems connecting to the mains Faulty Goods or mishandling in transit who knows??...

Ive used these a lot as a joiner doing media walls and kitchens etc.... and although i have no issues previously the 1 time i do have an issue and had to speak to customer services i found this very poor indeed, very rude, very defensive for no reason accused me of lying told me ive phoned the wrong number.

simply i bought some black LED strip profile with the black profile indert, and this is sooooo bad it lets no light through so ive left the customer with no cover over the lights until resolved, i phoned last week and spoke to a lovely lady who listened and took all my details and some someone will contact me to discuss, it wasnt even a complaint it was feedback and the hope that they could send me some clear profile diffusers to resolve the issue?

cut to today and iven not heard anything so i called again to a guy who answered the phone so i breifly told him that a spoke to a lady last week, he cut me off and said we dont have any females work here youve got the wrong number or your mistaken who you ordered from? i said i wasnt and 100% no where i bought from as i had the invoice in my hand, i explained it was a lady and im not mistaken and after back and to of him telling me im wrong it turns out they have a virtual assistant company that takes messages (how is a customer supposed to know that when they answer the customer services number) i sepnt 7 minutes on the phone to this lady who said she wasnt technical and someone will phone me back.

anyway explained the profile diffuser was poor in black and blocks all the light out so renders them pretty much useless, he basically said tough theyre not very good - to which i got angry and said his customer service was Sh!* i was about to place a £600 order for some other equipment in the hope he would offer a small discount to reflect the fact i would need to buy £30ish of extra profile to rectify the poor product choice. or send some channel out, i wanted to speak to them first as i knew i had another order to place so therefore trying to order as 1 incase they offered free product replacemnt it would actually save them footing the delivery bill and could send complete with my other order.

now i will place the order with another company and in the vague hope that people who read this review it will deter people from ordering from places with poor customer services which is a trend that is all to familiar with online companies these days.

£30 or the equivilant discount would have kept a customer for a long time now it appears i will shop elswhere.

I bought a 4 LED battery strip light to put in a cupboard. What a joke! The bracket that attaches by adhesive to the "roof" of the cupboard shelf, barely grips the light tube. The tube has a button to switch the light on. The button requires moderate pressure to activate the light and - hey presto! - it knocks the tube straight out of the bracket!!

Purchased GU10 bulbs 2 years ago with five years warranty now they have blown Simple Lighting refuse to replace making excuses that I'm using incorrect light fittings

Wish i saw the reviews before i purchased there faulty products and they makr it extremely hard to get a refund with a sales manager Chris with crazy email responses never by from this dealer

Easy to use website good pricing and very fast delivery.
Needed under cabinet lighting looked on thier website found what i needed and place an order a Thursday they delivered on the following day.
Easy installation good instructions very happy with the service.

After reaching out to Simple Lighting for help with my lighting needs, they promptly crafted a solution for me in just one day. Once we settled on the cost, the lights and drivers were at my doorstep in under 48 hours.

Easy to install as I was swapping them for the old fluorescent under counter lights in the kitchen. They have a good brightness and the price was great

I placed my first order with Simple Lighting and it will be my last. The goods were never delivered and the courier placed the parcel elsewhere. Instead of putting this right, the company blamed their courier and made me complete forms that should never have been required.

I sent a lawful cancellation request on 5 November and received no reply for five days. When I called to chase this, the sales manager spoke to me in a very dismissive and defensive manner, which only added to the frustration.

I have now finally received a refund, but only after chasing multiple times. The whole experience has been unprofessional from the lack of communication to the attitude shown when I asked for my rights to be respected.

A very poor first impression and certainly my last order with Simple Lighting.

Placed several orders and always been happy with price and service. Recently had an issue with the driver for an LED strip we’d bought and Chris on Support sorted it out for us. Delighted. I highly commend Simple Lighting.

Terrible after sales service and can’t accept that bulbs were faulty! Have sent information they requested, photos, they also requested, but the bulbs worked when they were installed, (literally a couple of weeks ago, and they stopped one by one, on separate circuits)
Asked to speak to the electrician but I’m not going to insult him. I’ve had to buy additional bulbs, (from elsewhere), and they work! Proves the ones they sent were faulty! Wouldn’t recommend, due to poor returns/refunds policy! Saving money was the reason I shopped there, but it’s costing me more!

Absolutely first class. Have just found this company and the service is outstanding! Chris looked after me after very well and I look forward to using this company again soon.

Worst service, send us a faulty bulb and claimed we connected it wrong and tried to avoid the refund.

Competitive price for my requirements and extremely prompt delivery. Products appear to be good quality and performing well.
