My O2 is now pitiful

Trying to find out your contract status has changed and they are simply hiding this so that you can keep paying a higher tariff.
My O2 account doesn't even give me contract begin and end dates anymore - it's all changed to a horrible marketing mess without the basic information a user needs to manage their contract.

Uswitch used to actually be helpful in…

Uswitch used to actually be helpful in finding you a deal and then swapping to it. Just tried today as my SIM contract is out of date and instead of doing what it used to do - Uswitch is now trying to get me to sign up to uswitch plus.
Why the change and why are you now spamming users simply looking to find the best deals on their contracts?

They sell from eBay

I ordered a brand new printer off Amazon - paid for delivery and it turned out Carmarthen Cameras were fulfilling the order.
This was meant to be a Xmas present and it arrived via an eBay box.!
Unsealed Canon parcel on the inside so who knows where this "brand new" order had come from? To add insult to injury - I had to pay to return a parcel I had already paid Amazon Prime for. Sorry for whoever Carmarthen Cameras palms this off to as a "new product" but it clearly wasn't.

Edit: I sent the printer back and still have not been given my refund nearly 6 weeks later. Sadly, I lost my proof of posting and so Amazon can't do anything.

Not a business I will ever use again and if you want to believe their reply to me below - good luck to you.

Does Amazon's warehouse have a leaky roof?

Parcels arrived absolutely soaked as if the pallets with everyone's goods had been left out in the rain. The Amazon van parked 3 metres from my door in dry weather and yet the 4 packages were all soaked. I set returns straight away because 2 had electrical and I could foresee reliability problems down the line. Funny that the courier said she left the parcels by the door - when she actually handed them direct to my daughter who was on duty for me.

Why bother giving me a delivery date?

I don't see the point of a delivery date when UPS suddenly decide to deliver a day early and then because I'm not in on the wrong day - leave it at the furthest away pick-up point in my city?
Contacting UPS privately is not an option they give anymore so hence a very public unhappy review.

Great controller, shame it's a huge pain get it working.

Once you work out for yourself where the driver is that makes the SteelSeries controller work with your M1 Mac - it's brilliant. Does a great job
That said - it's not intuitive that you buy a controller designed for the Mac and iPad and it works straight out of the box or that there's an explanation to direct you to download a driver.

So - controller (after much hunting and nearly sending it back) is a 5 star experience.
The driver, finding it and the sheer size of the driver (plus a huge download for the app to download the driver) is a 0-star experience.

Rubbish service, rubbish provider

Rubbish service, rubbish provider. Be very careful to check everything if you make the mistake of signing to this provider as you only get 14 days to cancel the contract without penalty. Carphone Warehouse are happy to sell and promote iD but any problems and you are told to go to the website which actually doesn't have a human there to complain to.
My service is intermittent - even in the centre of a big town - sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Well, wouldn't it be good if you could choose to pay when you actually get the service.

If you check your phone settings, you can usually change the network type used by the phone and we find that switching to using '3G networks only' can help with connection issues in certain areas where 4G may be weaker than the 3G service.

ONLY SUITABLE FOR SOME WINDOWS...

I guess if you have modern windows and the windows are not that tall then you are in luck.
I have a traditional victorian terrace with tall windows and the first time we fitted the blinds the cords (when the blinds were dropped down) could only be activated by someone 6ft tall or more. If you are shorter - god help you or get a step ladder to release the blinds.

SO, customer service was great - they asked for measurements, photos and all sorts so that they could get it right. We duly complied, measured everything and sent lots of pics / measurements back.

Replacement blinds arrived really quickly... because we are redecorating, I had moved onto other jobs.

2-3 months later, finally get the chance to try our new blinds and............

They sent EXACTLY THE SAME BLINDS WITH TOO SHORT PULL CORDS TO REPLACE THE FIRST ONES.

Instructions could be clearer and unacceptable delivery service

We got a text message day after paying saying delivery would be that day, waited in all day and nothing arrived. Three days later, no warning text but City-Link tried to deliver when we were out... Re-arranged delivery on the internet but City-Link ignored our arranged date so we found the bath-screen left with neighbour on a different date entirely.
Installation was lot more complex than a folding bath-screen I installed at previous house and the plugs are a little small but I hope they keep the door in place. In the end, it took a full day with two of us to install.

As long as you open the door in one direction, it works great.
