We booked a package holiday for April…

We booked a package holiday for April 2026 TUI are no longer using their own aircrafts so we were given the opportunity to change to aer lingus.
When booking the the price included standard seats baggage and transfers.Having booked with other tour operators the standard seats are FOC however this is not the case with TUI package holidays if you want to sit with your family you have to pay an additional cost for the seats each way which adds a considerable amount to your holiday.

Following the change of aircraft operator to Aer Lingus, some elements of the flight experience are now managed directly by the airline. This includes seat allocation policies, which differ from those previously offered on TUI‑operated flights. While your package continues to include your luggage allowance and transfers, Aer Lingus does not provide complimentary standard seat selection as part of their service, and this is why a charge is applied for choosing seats in advance.

We completely understand that this may be disappointing, especially if you have previously travelled with operators who include seat selection at no extra cost. If you prefer not to pay for seats, Aer Lingus will automatically assign seats free of charge when you check in. Although we cannot guarantee that your party will be seated together, the airline does make every effort to seat families as close as possible.

Holiday booking

I viewed the holiday online, I was still unsure of whether to book. The operator was really helpful and gave me the sound advice on the availability of flights from Birmingham.
This is the first time I have booked with love holiday.
I will be recommending your site to family and friends.
