The customer service was absolutely…

The customer service was absolutely shocking! I was verbally abused with the f-word throughout a 10 minute onslaught.
It started when I was at the tank filling up. When I was almost completed I was shouted at over the intercom by the sales assistant. I couldn't make out what he was shouting but there was a sign by the window sayin `PAY FIRST'. I hadn't seen this before - it was only around 6pm. As I approached the window to pay he directed me to go into the shop. At the counter he started accusing me of using my phone when filling up. I said I wasn't using my phone - I hadn't. I'd left my phone in the car. All I carried was my purse. He kept arguing back that I had been using my phone. He was extremely arrogant. He called me `f**king' this and that and said all the people around here were `f**king s**t'. He told me not to go back again. This was in front of another customer who he hadn't told to `pay first'. I felt totally and utterly insulted and I was just on my way home after work innocently buying some petrol!

Appalling service

The customer service received is appalling. It took me hours trying to resolve a straightforward issue. Advisor I spoke to could not articulate clearly in English and did not understand the basis of the issue or have any knowledge of how to deal with it. He kept me holding continually. Eventually he gave me another number to call. This was the number of engineers who would definitely not be able to deal with the issue. All I wanted to do was cancel my service as, due to technical reasons, Talk Talk cannot be installed at my new address.

I have tried on three occasions to get the issue resolved with the live chat line. My most recent chat took over an hour. Then I was told that he could not `look into' the issue as the system was down. He told me to chat again in 2/3 hours. It beggars belief how incompetent everyone I've chatted to at Talk Talk is.

I wish I had never used them - and certainly will not again.

Totally Incompetent!

I have just contacted customer service. It took ages to go through all the options to actually speak to someone. I then was asked many questions to establish reason for call and access records. I was then left holding on. This process had taken 20 minutes. The advisor came back to me and said she would transfer me to another department.

The next advisor then started with the whole process again. Not one shred of information - my name, address, account number or reason for call - had been passed on. Twenty five minutes into the call, I had to call off. I was so frustrated and late for work!


The incompetence of this organisation beggars belief.

Very poor after customer service and property management

After 3 months of moving in the tiles in the bathroom came away from the wall and several cracked. I contacted customer service continually over a period of 5 months before they arranged for a tiler to fix and replace tiles.

Also, the lock at the main entrance to my apartment block, was always very loose. Eventually it broke completely. However, it took approx. 4 months before Bellway customer service arranged for a new lock to be fitted. In the meantime the landings and stairs were used by teenagers to `hang out' with bikes and scooters. I was very concerned about security as any stranger could enter the apartment block day or night.

The windows are very poorly sealed allowing very cold air to pass through - in winter, despite have the heating on full, the bedrooms are freezing.

My apartment Is on a main road yet there is no sound-proofing - hence I am woken every morning by the sound of heavy traffic, including lorries and trucks, passing under my windows.

In over two and a half years the outside windows have never been cleaned.

Finally the grounds are not tidied - they are used as a dumping ground by passers by and a lot of litter left to build up around trees for months.

Delays and Hidden Costs

Myself and partner were very disappointed Ryanair. Firstly, because of all the extra costs they charge after booking flights with them. Seats are selected randomly and therefore to sit next to others you are travelling with there is an extra charge. Also, there is now an extra charge called Priority booking to take a small 10k cabin case/bag on to the plane, otherwise this bag has to be checked in at the boarding gate. However, on our return flight, only I was made to check in my case at the boarding gate and my partner was told he had to take his on to the plane. He therefore had to throw away most of his toiletries as they exceeded the 100ml liquid restrictions for cabin luggage.

What was very annoying also was the long delays. Going out the flight was delayed by over 2 hours and no reason was given. And returning the flight was delayed by 40 minutes with no reason given except that earlier flights had also been delayed.

We will definitely avoid using Ryan Air again.
