Well wrapped furniture. No issues. I ordered 2 lamp tables and was pleased with them,so ordered a tv cabinet to match. Kept informed of delivery details and the 2 delivery drivers Dave D and Ian arrived on schedule and were most helpful with their advice. I would definitely use this company again.

I always find something nice at Pavers. I popped into my local outlet and bought shoes. So nice I ordered a different colour online to be delivered to store. No issues at all.
Nice well balanced milk pan. I have now ordered a matching set of pans. My last milk pan from this company lasted 20+ years and in constant use. I've had a new kitchen so need nice new shiny pans to with it. Fast delivery.
Nick helped us deal with our enquiry. Patient, knowledge and professional at all times. An asset to Loughborough branch. No waiting or having to make an appointment.

I always check with Quidco before making a purchase and often there is an offer for something I need. I have just received £34, and last month another £45. Nice bonus for my bank account.

Phoned yesterday to ask questions about my account with the 2 properties on it. The lady actioned my requests but also somehow locked me out of my online account. Email address no longer recognised! And my data (name etc) deleted.Today I spent an hour trying to get this rectified. The gentleman was most helpful and pleasant. He sorted it out after about 30 minutes on the phone. Should not have happened in the first place. On the plus side - no queuing to get through to the helpline.

Having looked at your account, I can see that your user details were deactivated but I can't see why this would be done I will raise this as a training error and provide feedback to the energy specialist you spoke to's team leader so that we can avoid this situation happening again. Second part of my order sent by DPD. Jasper lamp table. Booked with store to be delivered on Monday. Free day for me. Came early on the Saturday by Next Day delivery. I changed my day around to receive my delivery as he was already en route before I found out. Left outside the front door as is usual for DPD. I just got to the door as he photographed and went. Lovely piece of furniture.
Viewed furniture in store. Later decided to order online after thinking it over and the store was quite a distance away. 4 items wanted but one was out of stock - 17 weeks delivery. Advised in a phone call to the Grantham store to make 2 separate orders - 3 items with 2 weeks delivery and one item with 17 weeks delivery. 2 lots of delivery charges at £25 each. The 4th item came in 3 weeks. Good, but wasted £25 due to wrong information. At no point online it there an option to have the furniture unpacked for an extra fee. The small print says packing will be removed, so assumed this would happen. Delivery man said they do not do this, so 2 OAP s had to unpack a large sideboard (83 kilos) which was stood on it's end. I showed the driver the arrows on the box to stand it the normal way but he said it would be easier to unpack that way. Oh no it's not! The manager tells me you can have an unpacking service only if you order in store. Be aware of this if you order large items from this store and factor in a trip to the tip to get rid of lots of cardboard. Very nice furniture. Made in Vietnam. Excellent packaging. No complaints with product. 100%.
Hi Tracey. In reply to your comments - I took advice from the driver who delivers many large items and this is the only time I have ever received such a large item. The driver was doing his best to be helpful. Sadly we do not remember the name of the person we spoke to regarding 2 delivery charges, but it was not Elizabeth. Thank you for the refund. I have revisited your website and do not see not see any mention of contacting the store for more delivery options. £25 is added at checkout. From your website. "For furniture, large items and products which weigh more than 30kg, we charge a furniture delivery service. Mainland UK* £2999 or over - FREE Mainland UK* under £2999 - £25 In most cases, all packaging will be removed and taken away. Please note that on rare occasions, this may not be possible." This was my expectation.

Hi Sylvia, Thank you for your feedback, and we are sorry that this experience has not been as you expected, nor as we would want for our customers. The information you received was not accurate, and if you had placed one order, then you would, and should, have only had one delivery charge. We have therefore refunded the second delivery charge. In terms of the inaccurate information you received, could you please let us know which department you spoke to when you called our Grantham store? This will help us pick up with the individuals concerned, to ensure that accurate information is consistently provided. If you could email us at online@downtownstores.co.uk, we would appreciate that extra information. We do offer an unpacking service for both in-store and online orders, though it may incur an additional charge, and does require contacting us to add it to your order. With regard to the delivery on the day, we have checked with the delivery team and as you know, the despatch manager has spoken with you to explain that the delivery team suggested leaving the item standing on its end, as this would make it easier to remove the packaging. However, they did offer to lay the item down if you preferred, so hopefully this explains the situation. We can only apologise if this was unclear, and for any inconvenience caused to you. We genuinely appreciate the great feedback on the furniture, and once again thank you for taking the time to write this review. Kind regards Tracey
Lovely blinds. Perfect fit for my cloakroom and utility. Quick delivery. I have used this company several times for other rooms and I am always happy with the blinds.
We had a long time browsing. Staff asked if we needed help but were not intrusive. Eventually we decided on the coffee table we would like and Lucy helped us to make our purchase. A very pleasant young lady who explained all the options and was patient with us while we decided.

Ordered 2 sofas. Delivered by Frank and John - excellent team. Unpacked and rubbished removed. Kept informed of progress at all times. No damage to items and looking lovely in my sitting room. I love your Derby shop and will be back to browse soon.
