Although very good in general, my order which was delivered by Evri looked as if it had been bashed about and the item’s packaging was squashed. It looks like some damaging went on somewhere during transit.

The product worked without fault despite the damage to the packaging. I notified Prima of this but haven’t received an apology for receiving damaged goods (packaging). This lack of reply is why I have downgraded them from 5 star to 4 star.

I like the fragrances and value for money TFS has and the staff are very helpful. Sometimes I can ask for something which I am a bit unsure of but they help to identify what I am trying to pinpoint. It can be like identifying an instrumental track with no words.

I also like The Perfume Shop too, and while both are good, TFS has more outlets where I go, and therefore I use them more.

I have tried to set up a UPS account but I have had no end of bother setting up my account. I keep getting maximum number of PINs sent and told to wait another 24 hours when I haven’t done anything requesting PINs. A verification of my email address with a code has never come through, so I cannot log in and see my account number.

I phoned the UPS helpline and they were unable to help me without my account number. I told them I cannot get to my account to find my account number and they told me they cannot sort the problem out without my account number.

Completely useless service. I don’t want anything to do with UPS the way they treat customers as the scapegoats for not being able to sort problems out. Their system is the problem, not us the customer as we cannot get the information needed.

Generally good with a wide selection. Helpful staff too. They helped me to decide by trying a variety of samples as the choice is wide and with spending money carefully it takes a while to decide the right one at the right price unless you have a specific one to get.

The staff were helpful in trying to find the right fragrance for me and at about the right price. Overall good value but I end up spending more than originally planned.

I use Acronis as it is reliable and keeps my data backed up safe. Prices are reasonable for keeping data safe. As with any software there can be glitches or when their platform needs an upgrade, but the help team are very good and resolve the issue quickly. These rarely happen and whenever they do I can feel reassured that all will be well in a short time.
I tried various backup platforms beforehand to try to meet my needs, and have stuck with Acronis for over fifteen years now.

A quick but positive experience for getting two T-shirts and renewing my discount card. The assistant was very helpful and positive, and did everything very efficiently with no waiting about. I was also advised that the offer is “mix and match”, but I wanted two of the same style T-shirt.

I can rely on a good selection and reliable products when shopping at Ryman. Some brands I haven’t seen elsewhere so are new to me and very reliable. Prices can vary and better quality products cost more, but I don’t think they are overpriced for what they are.
Also, staff are very helpful and treat customers with value and respect. As customers we need them to serve us, as staff they need us as customers.
Always a pleasant shopping experience at all the Ryman outlets I have used.

Overall I have been very satisfied with Ryman. I would have given 4.5 out of 5, but 4 is a bit low so I have given 5.

I used to occasionally use Ryman but recently started using it more, and there are some brands I don’t see anywhere else which are appealing to me and I have been satisfied with overall.

You only get what you pay for - expect to pay a bit more for quality goods but they are generally good value with some good offers too which attracts two ways - better quality but softening the higher cost. I have “piggy-backed” on such offers and been impressed with the quality.

I shall keep using Ryman where I can.

For the first time it was okay. A bit unsure of a few things and no response to my initial enquiry but I got it sorted out myself. Other than this, prices, service (delivery) and products good.

The pricing of Avanti tickets is generally nothing more than a rip off, especially in the areas where it has the monopoly such as the north west of England on the West Coast Main Line from Crewe northwards.

From Crewe there are multiple operators towards London but going south to Crewe it is a rip off.

Example, for a return from Lancaster to Oakham returning the same day with a disabled persons railcard (DPR), changing at Birmingham New Street and using Cross Country to/from Oakham it costs £35.55, but for a return from Lancaster to Crewe on the same day with a DPR costs £40.15.

Both journeys use the same Avanti train services (times) between Lancaster and Crewe so travel is not at different times or different trains along this stretch.

Oakham: 07:58 - 11:41; 15:21 - 19:07 About 7.5 hours in total for £35.55
Crewe: 07:58 - 09:00; 18:09 - 19:07 About 2 hours in total for £40.15

How is it cheaper on a longer journey when it is the same services on Avanti plus extra Avanti travel and the use of Cross Country? Avanti definitely tries to rip customers off where they have the monopoly and don’t have to share with any other operators. I never get a train just to Crewe as it is too costly and overpriced. I try to go further for cheaper from Lancaster but will drive to Crewe if I need to start my train journey in the extended West Midlands Day Ranger zone which starts at Crewe and is £23.95 with a DPR for a day.

I know the rail network very well and try to maximise my mileage for the price I pay, but will avoid Avanti where they rip customers off.

Overall very good. There are a lot of discounts out there but sometimes there can be confusion over discounts with a few retailers. Using the BLC is very good and accepted without any problems generally.

My partner and I were seasonal members and one day I wanted to call into the shop. I had my membership card but my partner didn’t as she wasn’t going in so didn’t bring it.
Upon entering the grounds we were met by security guards who didn’t know we were members and told us to get tickets at the ticket office.
Unfortunately my partner said she didn’t have her ticket with her - not that it mattered as I was going into the grounds, not her, and then they started to treat us like ticket dodgers.
Ticket checks are carried out at the admission barrier, not here, as many who pass this point don’t have any tickets and purchase tickets later, so the fact my partner didn’t have a ticket at this point shouldn’t have mattered.
We were treated abruptly. The security guards tried to be difficult and said it wasn’t allowed for her to wait in the car while I went inside the palace.
We have never been back since and consequently not renewed our memberships.

What a difference the products I purchased from PRIMA at the NEC (Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show) have made with my travelling which I had never heard about. Very helpful, good value for money with their offers and peace of mind knowing everything is of the highest standard. Also, when needing advice I emailed them and they were very helpful.
What I purchased was the tip of the iceberg of what they supply as there is plenty more which I am sure will be of equal quality and value.
I have since purchased more (based on this) and each time everything has been of the highest standard.

I was considering using performance boosting software for my laptop but am reluctant after many incidents with the blue screen of death appearing due to the software messing with the registry.
Despite renewing my internet security in December I was pestered by an advert from McAfee to boost my laptop’s performance and at an offer. There’s nothing to say it was only up until December as subscriptions are generally for year.
So the discounted offer was a bit of a con with it being for under 10 months up until the internet security subscription runs out.
I have finally decided to finish with McAfee and look somewhere else.

Straightforward and not over expensive. Keeping prices as low as possible for customers and also valuing customers.

Although there was no direct interaction with GoSkippy as it came up in a comparison website, the details and process on their website were straightforward, clear and the value for money was very good. No doubts about anything given the price offered.

I nipped in for a quick gift for myself and was shown (tested) various EDTs for men. The prices are always reasonable and being a member it was even cheaper.
It was difficult to choose which one to get from the range on offer.
The staff were also helpful which played a part as I didn’t feel under pressure but was able to choose in a relaxed way. I bought more (3) than intended (1) and so they got extra sales too.

It looks a good site for getting someone to do a job at short notice and while most businesses are reliable and operate legally, some that aren’t can slip through the net and offer you their services. If all went well then it would have got full marks.

Unfortunately, the handyman I got gave me a false address of his business and after the job wouldn’t issue me with an invoice, which I should have been given before paying but he made excuses promising I would get an invoice but despite several attempts I have been ignored. I have done some detective work and the business trades under several names. They have ignored my requests.

I reported this to MyJobQuote but they told me they cannot get involved. If they let such traders continue without checking them out then I won’t use MyJobQuote any more.

I am awaiting news from Trading Standards as there is something suspicious why this business is so secretive about their address and when paying for the job it goes into a personal account and not a business account.

Possibly illegal behaviour by one of the traders advertised on this website here.
